High praise indeed! POP’s is a huge inspiration of mine but that level of operation will be some achievement!!! But let’s see… 😳

Almost five months ago I choose to turn off the Rebrickable referral option on Brick Owl. Because I felt they were gaining a unfair referral fees.
I had Rebrickable referral turned on from Day 1 on Brick Owl. I quite quickly gained one local customer who placed orders quite frequently. A fan of Rebrickable, but I never saw an order trigger as a referral for Rebrickable. Then In January this year three orders in a row all showed as referral from Rebrickable. My thoughts were, why should I be paying a referral fee on a customer who is obviously not a referral from Rebrickable. Who had been buying from me for over six months at that point, and specifically choose to buy from me to save shipping and pickup locally.
Well through the back and forth with Brick Owl, it turns out from my understanding any action performed by a buyer that triggers the affiliate means any order they place on Brick Owl for the next seven days (I think it was) is treated as a rebrickable referral. I immediately turned off the affiliate option.

Yeah I’ve read they have a bit of a scam going there! Something Brick Owl should really put a stop to!!

@@YellowBrickRoadLego I am not sure if it is in the best interest of Brick Owl to put a stop to it. Because as long as it is like it is, Rebrickable prioritise Brick Owl and I think by default you have to toggle BeickLink to show in the list of stores to buy parts.
