It's not that simple. Specially on airliners. You get a gain in lift and higher stall speed with small flaps settings, but with bigger settings you also get lots of drag. That's becouse is very important to calculate the speeds, weighs and flap settings for the take-off. And high flaps settings are only used for landing.
actually it could be more like 145kts for the reular TOW and yes there is some point, just a theory if you take basic lift equation L = (1/2)*d*v2*S*CL let's presume that everything but lift and velocity is constant. Then you can count the constant from known L=G and v=? for usual take-off velocity near MTOW (arround 80t) after that for something slightly more then DOW, to make it easy 40t. Magic, not far away from the 90kts, but a bit more and its just a theory using a simple equation. Last thing you would never ever use full flaps for take-off
it does for sure, in the basic clear sky and no wind it is a bit harder, but possible. another factor, the stall speed is not a constant, it depends on actual weight, therefore if you dont have your cessna 172 fully loaded, it wont necessarily stall at the end of the white/green arch (regarding configuration) As it is indicated for maximum take-off weight
After landing/taking off from this airport a few times in real life I realize that the pilots know exactly what they are doing. Winair is the only airline allowed to land here. Technically the airport is closed for anyone else except for helicopters. The airlines uses Twin otters. the REALLY good pilots can land and turn off onto the taxi way within 200meters. Other pilots have to use the full length of the runway to get the plane to slow down enough. It's a great island to visit, the people are great and the scuba diving is FANTASTIC....
HAHAHAHAHAA....WOW!!...this is so good to watch..some easy ones and also some near misses, especially with Beech Baron and that LearJet..hehehe..the B737 was nail biting, but very entertaining, of course this won't happen in real life...hehehe.
+Mics0 clearly i've gotten the better you by my commenting more than once, and it's not even your channel and you got annoyed..so i think you are cringing now..always a pleasure to to be a pebble in your shoe...
For those who wanted to see an A380 or AN-225, I've got you covered: th-cam.com/video/I8Y-g5lnmw0/w-d-xo.html

Only possible in FSX
Weedy default planes - really ? Buy pmdg then take off at this runway
ty jesteś wszędzie. Ale ludzie interesujący się lotnictwem klikają w to samo :) Pozdrawiam!
Michaltrza No widzisz Xdd
I've done it in X-Plane 11 with a jet!
Richard Hopper both are Sims not possible in realife
Set head wind to 100 knots you can land an AN225 there
Set to 150 and you will hovering on the runway
terrain terrain, pull up!
whoop whoop
MADAY MAYDAY SPEED BIRD 38 IS OVER RUNNING THE RUNWAY MAYDAYYYYY
MADAY MAYDAY SPEED BIRD 38 IS OVER RUNNING THE RUNWAY MAYDAYYYYY
terain terain poop ur pens
GeekGaming dont sink
other time try with a380 xD
Flying Bear nur then make 4000m runway and Not 400 XD
OR with Antonov AN-225 "MRIYA"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Try landing an MLW C-5!!! FAIL!!
OR A350-900XWB xD
It would probably be the same size as the runway 😀
FSX: It worked!
Real Life: What the Hell!!!!

Assuming your aircraft were extremely empty because there would be no way a 737 and 777 would have made the takeoff. Still an very enjoyable video
Yup, completely empty. In fact, the 737 ran out of fuel just a minute after take-off.
Jehan Kateli plz watch my video
MG AviationNZ, the 737 may be able to land on a 400 metre runway even on a full load as the speed would slow down due to the load.
I don't think so. The increased weight adds momentum, and that would require a higher stopping force to achieve the same rate of deceleration.
Ryan air pilots can do it?
Very entertaining, and educational. Can't wait to try this runway on the X-Plane!
Why they don't extend the runway 50 metres each way. Seems there is plenty of space available
dat would defy the purpose of dis airport
“Should’ve turned on the seatbelt sign” *Subscribed*
Best conclusion ever :D
Empty plane mhmmm alright. nice video!
Sieht man sich auch mal unter einem anderen Video... ^^
LAND AN AIRBUS A380 :)
Edric W_YT no land a anoton i forgot the number
Antonov 225...
morgan dollar lol😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
stratolauncher...
I did :) th-cam.com/video/I8Y-g5lnmw0/w-d-xo.html
I Died with laughter when reading the conclusion
XDDD me too
As real as it gets
Yep! Entirely!
I am genuinely and pleasantly surprised. An FSX video not only at 4K but 60fps? Thank you for your quality video.
TacticalNuclearMuffin yep best quality fsx video
Loving those -200LR alarms, especially the autopilot disconnect and stick shaker ones.
The Boeing 737 is wow the landing was clever
Muhammad Umar Suryaningrat yeah
Ur a great pilot
In games
Good landing!
I like that learjet takeoff, the climb was like 50 degrees😉
Great video though!👍
that was soo lit
Really enjoyed this
Dont extend the flaps Full if you start! That makes the plane slower. Normally you do flaps 1
LIFT!! FOOL LIFT!!
nooooo 3 times witch gives 8
Christopher Coke Robinson DRAG!! FOOL DRAG!!
Flaps helps the plane take off at lower speed
It's not that simple. Specially on airliners. You get a gain in lift and higher stall speed with small flaps settings, but with bigger settings you also get lots of drag. That's becouse is very important to calculate the speeds, weighs and flap settings for the take-off. And high flaps settings are only used for landing.
This was fun to watch, AND you did it very well! I'm tired of watching people slam in to Lukla and count it!
5:00 lol
Very cool video man !
It is just amazing :D
Gatta love the realism in FSX😂
You can takeoff and land on a postage stamp if the head wind is set at 100mph.
I already did a video on that: th-cam.com/video/ffIm1sl_Ygg/w-d-xo.html
Let's find out = hold my beer...(Nice touch with the seat-belt sign).
Wow that is defiantly something that i could not ever succeed at in larger jets.PS FSX rocks. xD
When u want to own an airport but ur broke AF 😂
“Safety first...” hilarious 😆
Boeing 777 was about to crash and water it must be crashed but
.....
But that crashed plane make me cry!😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭because i lovw that beautiful plane😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭it is my favourite 777!😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
this is Saba airport in the Caribbean..just north of my island in the Caribbean...good stuff in the video..hehehe
Just keep in mind that this is FSX and not XP11 or P3D. Reality: 0/10, Entertainment: 8/10.
Welcome to FSX Steam Edition.
Fsx its P3d...
That 737 landing was very impressive
You took off the Boeing 737 at 90 knots. should be 130-140 knots
130-140 knots is the normal take off speed. It's lower when the plane is completely empty and using full flaps.
actually it could be more like 145kts for the reular TOW
and yes there is some point, just a theory if you take basic lift equation L = (1/2)*d*v2*S*CL

Last thing you would never ever use full flaps for take-off
FSX doesn't simulate stalls, so you can take off well below normal minimum speeds.
it does for sure, in the basic clear sky and no wind it is a bit harder, but possible.
another factor, the stall speed is not a constant, it depends on actual weight, therefore if you dont have your cessna 172 fully loaded, it wont necessarily stall at the end of the white/green arch (regarding configuration)
As it is indicated for maximum take-off weight
British-Aussie Lover Planes cant take off at full flaps
Love your videos, jehan!
Did the 777 use GE90 engines? As the most powerful engine option for the 777, i assume you will need all 105,000Ibs of thrust on that runway.
Alpha Gametauri yes, all 77Ls use GE90-115b/GE90-110b engines. The engine provides 115,000lbs and 110,000 lbs of thrust, respectively
Thought so.
I love this video!!!!

Oh holy lords of slew mode, hear my prayers. Bless us with your gifts.
Just a slightly longer than Aircraft Carrier
Just to say, this is the longest runway on LAND, not WATER.
The 777 landing at the end is so funny!
RIP 772LR
Rip favourite plane! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭Boeing 777 200LR😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Out Skerries, Shetland, UK held this record at around 320M up until commercial use was discontinued a few years ago.
What game is this
YHK Flight Simulator X Steam Edition
Jehan Kateli I thought it was another game thanks anyway
YHK fsx
Nice job adding in some funny parts!
Wait what abuot SABA
Lol same thing ;)

Yes I realized that xD
This vid was awesome

Saba Airport :D been there only a month ago, 12 min flight from SXM on a twin otter (WINAIR). Awesome experience :D
CONCLUSION: FSX is crap.
X-plane for the win!
*grabs popcorn*
It´s possible to make the same using the "realistic" X-Plane. There´s a video where a guy lands a 747 on an aircraft carrier

Woah! The Cessna 172 looks so.. Modern now I never knew that I always sticked and liked the old cockpit
It's just an S model with a G1000 haha. Tbh, I prefer steam gauges over it.
Sting716 Lol
Sting716 If all the 172's are gonna look like that i'd recommend myself the Sikorsky instead
PLUS with the clear weather and calm wind
Nice landing👏
I loved the conclusion
That ultralight was way too cute
That was really entertaining!
Cool video; loved it.
Love how you're nose gear floats on water....
Saba AirPort: I have the shortest runway.
Aircraft carriers: hold my deck
you were slewing with your bare hands on that 777 takeoff
This is just my best explanation for it,I am a pilot and dont think a 737 could EVER really do this,it would be a lot of luck
Nice research
I've never heard of a 777. it's pretty cool
Afcourse an Ultralight is gonna make it. It's still supposed to be able to land some planes
Great video!!
Probably the best pilot in the world.
you slam that nose gear everytime lol
That takes skill jeez.
Great video! Can you do with the a380? jajaja
Loved the captions!!! LMAO
"Should've turned on the seatbelt sign"
Goddamn lmao
Best fsx video
Super video
AWSOME VIDEO JEHAN KATELI
love the crj700 for short trips
You should try to land a 747-400. Noice vid earned a new sub
"No way dude, that's CFG edits" -AirforceProud95
I like how you used the ultralight first. Face it, anything is fair game for that.
I love it
Nice video!
That video was better than I first thought it would be. Do a Concorde. Do a Concorde. ;)
HAHAHAHAHAA....WOW!!...this is so good to watch..some easy ones and also some near misses, especially with Beech Baron and that LearJet..hehehe..the B737 was nail biting, but very entertaining, of course this won't happen in real life...hehehe.

That Video was very nice, yeah you should maybe try it with a Airbus A380 ;-)
Dang boi u got skillz
Nice video
Nice and funny video
Most of all small aircraft is really fits that runway
Great video 😂
Wow, Netherlands is a beautiful country
