A great actor, one of the finest acting families in Hollywood. Normally I do not care for acting families, but his family has broken the mold, and always held themselves to a higher standard.
I would argue that Harrison Ford is the king it that regard...Star Wars and Indiana Jones are gigantic franchises and Han Solo + Dr. Jones are among the most iconic and recognizable characters in modern movies...yet not once while you are watching any of the Star Wars movies do you think "hey, there's Indiana Jones" and not once while you watch Indian Jones do you think "hey, there's Han Solo".
I met a close friend of the Bridges family in 2010, a former actor by the name of Charles Dunham (the kid at the end of the original 'lone ranger series) Charles' Crash' Dunham...... What is truly fascinating, raconteur......maximum respect.
