He's right...my parents were together over 60 years and my father fell for her the minute she came to the door.. It was a blind date..before he died he arranged for her to receive 11 roses on the anniversary of his death. He'd written her a note that said she was still the twelfth Rose..he apologized for not being there. I appreciate the sentiment but "never give up when it gets tough" is a tricky message to put out there. If they beat you, cheat, abuse you, hurt your kids, steal from you, coerce you into things you don't want to do you should "give up" and leave them. Not everyone has a happy ending like you, just saying.

He said something so important about staying together. If you truly love someone, you don't take off every time things get tough. You work things out, together. It's how your relationship continues to grow and the foundation gets more solid, especially when you solve the issue together. My spouse, who died in 2016, and I went through everything together. Sure there were times when anger could have broken us, but we each took a few minutes to compose ourselves, and then we would figure out the issue together. We loved each other deeply so there was that to motivate us to resolve the problem. And if we decided it was an issue with just one of us, we would help and support the other through the problem. We never judged each other or put down a concern as being ridicules. That would be dismissing an emotion the other was experiencing. Thankfully we only had a disagreement where there was anger expressed 2 times in the 15 years we were together. I'd found my soulmate and partner for life but God had other plans. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't miss my partner. Its been 4 years, yet I still haven't gotten rid of their things. I know there will be the right time to do so, It just hasn't happened yet.
The first time I see my wife Lynn I'll tell her we can have beautiful children's there we are we got six children's 5 girl I one boy we've been married 15 years my name is Walter Pech

I’ve been with my Hubbie for 34 years and love him more than I did when I met him. True soul mates. Never give up when it gets difficult. It’s worth it.
I appreciate the sentiment but "never give up when it gets tough" is a tricky message to put out there. If they beat you, cheat, abuse you, hurt your kids, steal from you, coerce you into things you don't want to do you should "give up" and leave them. Not everyone has a happy ending like you, just saying.

He said something so important about staying together. If you truly love someone, you don't take off every time things get tough. You work things out, together. It's how your relationship continues to grow and the foundation gets more solid, especially when you solve the issue together. My spouse, who died in 2016, and I went through everything together. Sure there were times when anger could have broken us, but we each took a few minutes to compose ourselves, and then we would figure out the issue together. We loved each other deeply so there was that to motivate us to resolve the problem. And if we decided it was an issue with just one of us, we would help and support the other through the problem. We never judged each other or put down a concern as being ridicules. That would be dismissing an emotion the other was experiencing. Thankfully we only had a disagreement where there was anger expressed 2 times in the 15 years we were together. I'd found my soulmate and partner for life but God had other plans. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't miss my partner. Its been 4 years, yet I still haven't gotten rid of their things. I know there will be the right time to do so, It just hasn't happened yet.
