I was yelling at the tv that the things you see when you put your fingers together and create a pinhole are vitreous floaters, not veins. Lasers are used to treat retinal issues in human eye health as well. By far my favorite part of the episode

As an actual vet student, I can verify that this is 100% accurate to life. Oral temperature, yep. Using a woods lamp to find external parasites, 100%. Animals laying on the table not trying to kill or run away from you without sedation, all day. Injecting neon colored NSAIDS right into the lesion in a cats mouth, heck yeah that's probably how that works, and will def have no repercussions on the kidneys. Ointment and bandage on dermatitis, in my sleep. (My teachers would have a stroke seeing this game.)
The moment they took that meerkat's temperature with a thermometer in the mouth I realised that this game was made by someone who hasn't actually worked with animals
I've had multiple pet rabbits and thought the same thing when they took that temperature too. All I could think of was how unhygienic and absolutely wrong it was.
