I'd like that case, I have an iphone 15 pro now, but was a huge Blackberry fan back in the day & would love to experience a physical keyboard again in 2024
Ive been using the exact case in the video for about a month now. First day or so takes a bit of getting used to, but after a couple weeks the muscle memory is real. I love having a keyboard again. I highly recommend it.
Working in an office, answering non stop emails and taking notes in courses, makes me wish I had this case to try to make life 1% easier. Great video and thanks for the honest opinion.
I was “lucky” enough to get one of the founders edition and you realize real quick that this seems they didn’t really put 100% thought into this…after 4 days it seemed that it was taking me longer for normal easy task so I started timing myself and found a text/email that would take 8-10seconds would take me 15-21 seconds…saving contacts is annoying, emojis is annoying etc This was great in thought but not good in reality. Absolutely NOT worth anywhere close to $140
this is something I could use for note taking in the office, the screen expansion is a nice touch but obviously what you gain in that you lose in wide screen use. Overall tho if they were to update it to where you can use accessories plugged into the it I think this would be a good purchase!
in my case part of the missing use ( i write novels and media articules) could be an amazing tool because old school never dies, and also the big nostalgia of blackberry, i wish that next gen (if the project continue) be like the detachable samsung keyboard on the s6, s7 series where you can put it on top of the screen and remove when you don't need it .
I got one today and was wondering if I was the only one having a hard time adjusting. The buttons being smaller is the first thing I noticed and I kept thinking the "P" key is the backspace. I pulled out my old Sidekick to compare, and I didn't seem to have any issues with the Sidekick, likely being spacious.... so maybe it's not that physical keyboards are useless, but rather this case design is flawed due to limitations. I think an actual phone with a physical keyboard may still have some use cases (still dreaming of a modern Sidekick...)
Great review. Watched a bunch but your review seems genuine. Being on the fence about this product I’ve decided to not get it. Thanks so much for the great and honest review.
Hi, I am interested in this case. Why? Well lately I have had a lot of typing errors. Errors that did not initiate spell check. On a touch screen keyboard I have had issues with typing. Yes, I will have to get used to push the buttons mechanically or manually down. It’s okay for me to relearn a physical keyboard because here is what I will do. When I want to type a larger text or an email I stopped doing it on my iPhone. Now I go to my MacBook Air and type there. I have to wait till I go back home though. Usually I just take my phone with me and not my MacBook computer. So when I head about this product I was very happy. I will deal with some quirks. The positive about better typing is enough for me to relearn and improve. Thanks.
I would love to try this case since I am big fan of bb and always wanted a qwerty physical keyboard case . But hope I will get lucky instead of spending 140 Bucks!!
I would love to get this case because I was an avid blackberry user and have tried year after year to have it be my daily driver. Unfortunately with the lack of OS support, I can only store them in my collection and continue using my iPhone.
I've been workign on a Clicks review myself and it's funny, I didn't remember until watching this review, that my Globe button never has worked for anything but Cmd+Globe'ing my backlight on or off. I always thought it was supposed to help get to the emoji keyboard somehow, but it does nothing when tapped on its own, and it actually closes the software keyboard if I open that first. My Y button going limp on me at nearly the three-month mark was going to be my only real warranty-level complaint here but seeing you use your Globe key for what I supposed it was really meant to be used for has given me more to think about. Incidentally, while Clicks was immediately-responsive to my opening warranty request, since I provided the order number and photo/video evidence they requested it has been nearly a week without reply.
This was a great video in helping me decide whether or not to use this keyboard case. I think most videos/reviews on products unless they are sponsored should be the person trying to convince you that you don’t need it and then you will naturally outweigh the upside of whatever you are watching a review for help you decide whether or not you’re going to keep it. I think I had excitement over it and didn’t think of the functionality and certain small quirks that I would not have thought of. I had not watched this video such as CarPlay not working because I use CarPlay every time I get in my truck, so that would’ve been a huge disappointment to find out after I spent 130 bucks thanks guys
I have this case on a iPhone 15 Pro Max. I have had it for a month and am totally in love. I really don’t think that it is faster. I do think it is more accurate. To me, in long form documents, the accuracy makes it faster to use.
i want it because i'm mostly an apple ecosystem guy, but i require a blackberry with a physical keyboard to type, because i type a lot on my phone for writing and messaging and note taking. i've also been diagnosed with severe OCD and that's part of why i cant move on from a keyboard, however i also have fine motor skill issues which make typing on a touch screen take so long that i would get diagnosed with OCD again if i told a doctor how much time i was spending a day typing on one if i had to :P. my priv got too old in recent years so i ended up getting a key 2 LE from ebay, and recently a key 2 to replace that since the LE's kinda on its way out and not very good. i'm wearing that out until i switch to the key 2 full time, so it will last me longer lol and it's the best i've ever used, but it's already on its way out at a slower rate. wish i could get the ryan seacrest one haha. also hoping the unihertz keyboards get good enough for me to try, and/or they or another company use blackberry's patents to give us something better. but something like Clicks on and iphone is the dream i'll keep waiting and praying for cuz that would solve everything.
I'm excited to give it a try because I'm always on the lookout for tools that can boost my productivity. Winning this keyboard would be fantastic because I rely heavily on my phone for work, and having a physical keyboard could (hopefully)make a difference in how efficiently I can tackle tasks on the go. Thanks for the chance to win and for sharing your insights! 🙌
I am a BlackBerry fan. Just because of addicted to keyboards, I bought Unihertz Titan Slim and using it for 2 years. Now planning to buy iPhone after coming to know about clicks keyboard. So send it to me for getting some experience. 😊
I think they have a decent idea, I just don't think it's executed the best way it could have been. I'd say it's a good "prototype", but it needs a lot of work, and possibly rethink making the phone vertically longer.
The extra real estate is what makes me want this! I’m in and out of apps at work and being able to see more of the app might actually let me leave my laptop behind.
Thanks for the honest review. I’ve seen it coming up on my feed and I was interested but skeptical - this review was perfect and covered everything. I’m sure it’s useful for some people but there’s too many downsides for me to spend that kind of money.
My brother has always been having a hard time typing on his iphone 15 pro max because of his big thumb. Since it's his birthday next month, I wish to have this keyboard for him❤
Lack of MagSafe and wired CarPlay seem like a real deal breaker. That being said, I'd love to be considered as a lucky winner as I would still want to try out the physical keyboard and see if it's worth those trade offs
I'm a musician who writes my lyrics on mobile and communicates through mobile a lot. i also have some wicked eczema on one of me thumbs that makes typing really difficult when it flares up, so yeah this is a definite want for me.
Thank you for the review. I would say that using the shift to use the other characters is fine if the ergonomics of the layout were designed in a different way. It seems to have the same flaws from the days of Typo. I thought the USB C passthrough would have no issues, but seeing the trouble you had to go through, that puts a nail on this product. The fact that the magnets don't work well either makes no sense to disable another feature the phone provides. Those arguing that wireless CarPlay should fix that, you shouldn't take away a feature. Wireless CarPlay has lag that no one talks about and to settle for that while your phone is being inefficiently charged wireless is not ideal but you can't do that anyway since this magnet is so weak.
I’m definitely on my phone a lot both personally and at work. I work with a lot of spreadsheets, word documents and emails with my iPhone. I have a Bluetooth keyboard I bring to work with me. Which, works well, but I’ve been longing for a case like this for a while. I actually had a Clicks keyboard ordered when they first came out, but ultimately canceled it. It’s readily available for the 14 Pro now, decided to look at some reviews. I still don’t think I’ll buy it. Maybe at half the price. There’s a very good chance I’ll be upgrading to the 16 Pro this year, making this completely useless to me anyway.
Everything you mentioned are valid complaints. Some may be fixed with software updates so that's hopeful but others may need totally new hardware. I do find that having more screen Real Estate is useful for not only wring notes or emails but for social media in general and commenting on live streams.
I want this Case because I’m a Gadget Geek that LOVES using New Tech AND I also type a lot of emails and could easily get used to seeing more screen real estate instead of having to get rid of the on screen keyboard. So, I Am YOUR Man to send that Case to, Please and Thank You (Subscribed)
Buyer beware if you were unsure about the case and ordered anyway and want to return it, their customer service ghost you. I have reached out three times and as soon as I say I want to return the unit they never email me back. Also I see on their TH-cam they have comments disabled so maybe I am not the only one having issues.
This is a niche product and it will improve in successive iterations. People should understand that the demographic it is targeting is very specific and small. No product was ever perfect upon release. Even the follow ups had problems. iPhone 4 anyone? This is a good idea and I really want to buy it but it is expensive, does need further refinement and improvement and I have too many expenses to commit to it with an upfront cost.
Thank you for the review, I was excited about this when I first saw it but I think I'm going to give it a miss after watching this, you just saved me some £££ 😅
I'd love to win that case. I've been following Mr. Mobile for a while and think it's a useful accessory that gives you blackberry vibes and also looks stylish. It would also boosts my productivity by a lot of course
Thank you for this video. A much needed balanced review. If tech giants have decided to get rid of physical keyboard after $$$ of R&D. Then this is just a gimmick tech which will be on the market for only a few years.
1:49 WAT? A "learning curve"? It's a physical keyboard. It REMOVES a learning curve; the learning curve of working around the garbage autocorrect Apple tricked everyone into accepting. I get that this 'review' needs to make this thing look bad because "It's not what Apple and Samsung want" but BS. Virtual keyboards have ALWAYS SUCKED. Your "strange and disorientating" conclusion reeks of "we gotta pretend this is horrible even though common sense says the exact opposite." "We weren't getting used to the buttom placement." *facepalm* It is LITERALLY THE EXACT SAME AS iOS'S VIRTUAL KEYBOARD. Oh and then the "you gotta press an extra button for numbers". So... on Apple's virtual keyboard that was never a problem but suddenly it is now? WOW. Pressing and holding is way faster than the entire keyboard changing because Apple can't be bothered to put an actual number row in...
Why would anyone want it? I'll tell ya why -- 'cause there's a group of us out here who'll always love the tactile feedback that we can only get with a physical keyboard, and this here doohickey is about our only choice right now. It looked like Punk'd was going to release the QWERTY "Legend", but now they've backed away, and that just leaves Clicks. Unless your carrier supports 4G phones, and then you may have other options -- but mine doesn't.
drkrpr155, not all reviews have to be good reviews. Some are constructive criticism or honest reviews to give people a heads up on wither its worth buying.
Thanks. Your review helped me decide finally not to buy this. It’s one of those things that you long for due to nostalgia. But practically not worth it. Especially with the high price.

+ import. Just payed another 17 at customs 😅
I am old and still miss my BlackBerry , would be happy to use this cover

I just got this keyboard, i have no problem with it and i love it

Nothing like physical buttons. I’m really glad someone invented this, especially the fact that it may be removed it provides a better value.
This is something that should be on the top of the Unnecessary Inventions channel. Haha.
How’s the drop protection with this case?
I got one today and was wondering if I was the only one having a hard time adjusting. The buttons being smaller is the first thing I noticed and I kept thinking the "P" key is the backspace. Thanks for the thoughtful analysis of Clicks. It really is making me rethink its usefulness.
Where do you buy this? Thats awesome
fantastic approach of review. cheers.
I think I'll stick to my Unihertz Titan for a physical keyboard cause it doesn't make my phone super tall like this case does
Great review. Watched a bunch but your review seems genuine. Being on the fence about this product I’ve decided to not get it. Thanks so much for the great and honest review.
Would love this case for my new job!!! Gonna be sending a ton of emails and don’t have a case!

I still use the blackberry key one as a primary work phone today... There would not be a learning curve for me.
I want to try it out.
I would love to try this case since I am big fan of bb and always wanted a qwerty physical keyboard case . But hope I will get lucky instead of spending 140 Bucks!!

I really wanted this case as I love tactile feedback, but all the cons listed are a deal breaker for me :/
Thanks for the honest review!
That’s great honest review , thanks 🙏

Is the case still available ????
love your video!
This review makes me sad as I had such high hopes for the case. I for one look back all the time wishing I still had a physical keyboard
I'm excited to give it a try because I'm always on the lookout for tools that can boost my productivity. Winning this keyboard would be fantastic because I rely heavily on my phone for work, and having a physical keyboard could (hopefully)make a difference in how efficiently I can tackle tasks on the go. Great video. Thank you for the details provided. I would love to try it but the price is too high.
I need it for more screen
I want the case! I’m constantly backspacing and editing my texts!
great insight! I'd love to give it a try.
I’ve been hoping someone would make a case like this. I wanna get one so bad but I don’t have the money
Looks cool!
I am a BlackBerry fan. Just because of addicted to keyboards, I bought Unihertz Titan Slim and using it for 2 years. Now planning to buy iPhone after coming to know about clicks keyboard. So send it to me for getting some experience.

Does this work with the new delta emulator
The wired CarPlay is a big con. Appreciate the video
The extra real estate is what makes me want this! I’m in and out of apps at work and being able to see more of the app might actually let me leave my laptop behind.
wow, I really want to try this thing out!
Thanks for the honest review. I’ve seen it coming up on my feed and I was interested but skeptical - this review was perfect and covered everything. I’m sure it’s useful for some people but there’s too many downsides for me to spend that kind of money.
I come from the era of Blackberry and would definitely utilize and appreciate this keyboard.
As a long blackberry fan, this looks cool!
Grew up using Blackberry keyboard! I really miss that physical keyboard these days…this would definitely help me with emails and texting
My brother has always been having a hard time typing on his iphone 15 pro max because of his big thumb. Since it's his birthday next month, I wish to have this keyboard for him❤
The CarPlay issue is the biggest thing for me. Not taking my phone out a few times a day
Lack of MagSafe and wired CarPlay seem like a real deal breaker. That being said, I'd love to be considered as a lucky winner as I would still want to try out the physical keyboard and see if it's worth those trade offs

They should honestly put the keys on the top. It will seem weird at first, but I think it will actually be balanced that way.
Thank you for the review. I would say that using the shift to use the other characters is fine if the ergonomics of the layout were designed in a different way. No wired apple car play is a deal breaker

Samsung did this case a while ago with the S8, not sure why Samsung discontinued it tho because it has its own market
Everyone wanna buy it, no one would use it for a long time.
I don't think it would increase productivity

I would love to be the winner of that Clicks iPhone case. I really miss the physical keyboard feeling “BlackBerry”
This is great for me who live sell, so i can reply without taking the half screen of the phone.
This is a niche product and it will improve in successive iterations. People should understand that the demographic it is targeting is very specific and small. This case is 470 dollars in Turkey
Thank you for the review, I was excited about this when I first saw it but I think I'm going to give it a miss after watching this, you just saved me some £££ 😅
so i did not know about that spacebar search. LOL my life is easier now hahaha
I'd love to win that case. I've been following Mr. Mobile for a while and think it's a useful accessory that gives you blackberry vibes and also looks stylish. It would also boosts my productivity by a lot of course
we need one for the iphone SE. or apple can give us a keyboard iphone :)
I miss my blackberry keyboard to this day.
Most people prefer digital keyboard these days. It’s faster to type this way. That keyboard doesn’t help in case you want to type side ways.
This would sell more as a 8 month use and then forget about product for like $50
Thank you for this video. A much needed balanced review. If tech giants have decided to get rid of physical keyboard after $$$ of R&D. Then this is just a gimmick tech which will be on the market for only a few years.
We need one for Android asap
Thanks for the review. Your video confirms that the price isn’t justified and I will not be buying the case.

You must work for Clicks 😂😂 this thing sucks bro
There will definitely be a learning curve for someone that's not used a pkb. I'm saying this as a huge fan of pkbs on phones.
Why would anyone want it? I don't think it would increase productivity
No one need it nowadays
If you don’t even believe in physical keyboards, why review?
For clicks off course. (Yes, I'm pathetic)
drkrpr155, not all reviews have to be good reviews. Some are constructive criticism or honest reviews to give people a heads up on wither its worth buying.
Belief will not make your phone connect to CarPlay with the case.
- Typed using Clicks Keyboard.
This just looks like a really bad idea. Cant believe they're asking 140 bucks for this
Great video as always!
It makes your phone a LONGBOIIIII
Blackberry days
my gf said she will marry me if i get her clicks. if not she will break up with me.
Its such a bad idea.
Lmao it’s gimmicky but fun
Slide keyboard like nokia
I chose not to buy the clicks after watching this video. Thanks for the advise
Thanks. Your review helped me decide finally not to buy this. It’s one of those things that you long for due to nostalgia. But practically not worth it. Especially with the high price.
Kind of a bs review!
