honda crv? i mean any lil gas strut should be MORE than enough... maybe just one.. LOL
I'm waiting for them to make the strut for my 2023 Canyon AT4. They are not interchangeable. Great video

@@TonyTheTechnician I am too...they said they did not have a Canyon in their shop to work with.
@joebruce1670 ya you would think with how long they have had the colorado ones available they could have had a canyon in the shop by now
I just got the Amazon ones and the instructions say "2023 Chevy Colorado and 2023 GMC Canyon..
Ok i thought you were nuts with this mod but you are right those are way better.
Haha ya at first I had to ask myself do I want to spend money on this. But working on cars everyday, I deal with prop rods all the time and not having one in the way is just very convenient.
I noticed they have a kit like this on Amazon for like $49 also.
My base model ram came with gas struts from the factory in 04

Take a video of both the rubber molding where the oem hood hinges are. Mine keeps popping out and the clips doesn’t do it’s job. You might have an updated version.
Did you have issues with cowl wings separating from cowl after installing the hood strut
Now we need a REAL headlight switch.. and a programer to get my closer to project a REAL DIAL speedometer with RED SWEEPING NEEDLES, gas gauge and temp gauge too... The digital bar graphs suck.
Redline makes one for my 01 Escape, i mite try and DIY to save a few bux, cuz i HATE THE ROD!... rods wtf??

Im curious if the truck came with heat shield for the hood, and you had it off?
No alot of them didn't come with them. Some people are saying it was an option and some stated it was an item on back order. Didn't care enough to look further into honestly lol
What’s weird is, Colorados come with black steel wheel with highway tire for spare tire, ive owned mine since July 3, yesterday I slid under mine just to look at everything,,mine came with a shiny alloy or aluminum spare with off-road tire like my other 4 tires,, ive never seen that on one before ,,I wonder if they were out of spares and just gave me that so the truck could ship and get sold!
