Hei Zach, very simple basing. Just a small MDF base, 40mm x 20mm. Adding some small grit and sand with superglue and/or whote glue, painting it Dryad Bark, sently drybrushing Gorthor Brown with a real small brush and adding flock like Dirt Flock Foundation by Galeforce Nine. I hope that helps.
Hey Dizzy, would love to see some Shadow Elves painted your style! Also a couple questions please, do you set the pigments in with alcohol and do you varnish your minis afterwards? If so what do use? Thankyou and bravo... 🍻🤟😁
Shadow Elves? Tell me more. I use water for the pigments. Works as well for me as alcohol and yes, i give the miniatures a vallejo matt varnish with the airbrush when i am done painting.
@@Dizzyfinger That is ok! I love watching those videos too :) I am finishing up a 5th edition Bretonnian army for Warhammer Fantasy and am getting ready to start a Bretonnian army for Warmaster so I was looking for some inspiration :)
Hei there. I already painted a test stripe. Slightly greenish skin. Could be next up for recording a tutorial. Just need to update thirty 28mm zombies i painted back in 2016. Than i can go on to their smaller friends. ;)
@@Dizzyfinger Great! I have ordered some zombies so would be interested to see how your's have turned out. Sure they'll be amazing like the skeleton cavalry!
Yes, please, paint some Bretonians, please, please.Excellent video, very, very good tutorial. Thank you. I' very close to buy some of them: skeletons and Bretonians, too.😉 Well, and what about some 28mm Fallschirmjaegers and modern special military and police units, please?
I use small sand/grit, paint it brown, drybrush with another brown tone for some color variants and after that i put down some moos/gras down with GaleForeNine Dirt Flock FOundation Flock. It is small enough to fit. ;)
How do you base your 10mm miniatures? Love the paint job!

Do you base them before or after priming?
No, basing is done after painting when i put them on their MDF bases.
No need to apologize for your English, you speak the language very well and present some fantastic content, thank you!
@@vagabondprime1691 thank you mate. 😃
I really like seeing you put out more content in english. Your channel definitely deserves more viewers.
Thank you. You're welcome. :)
I must admit, I am absolutely *astonished* at what you manage at 10mm. Really phenomenal work.
Thank you. This is work you don't need to do at this scale... but you can ;)
You paint these like I paint 28mm scale miniatures! Lovely paint job - thanks for sharing.
Thank you. It is cool to challenge yourself every single day. ;)
Thanks for this!
You're welcome. :)
These look better than my 28mm black knights! Really awesome paint job!
Thank you. The scale is very forgiving. ;)
Siiiiiick. They are beautiful man. I just ordered some of the Lord of the rings ones.
Thx
Loved this so much I subscribed
Thank you. Will bring up the next 10mm tutorial soon.
Great tutorial, Just one catch. 50x20 mm bases? Warmaster uses 40x20 mm.
Did i say 50 x 20 ? If i did so it's a mistake. Those are 40 x 20. Sorry.
Would love to see how you paint more of the Chaos range!
I got some of those laying around. Just can't find the time right now. -.-
Great paint job
Thank you. :)
Lovely work, really enjoyed this tutorial, all the best, Garry
Thank you, you're welcome. :)
Awesome video! Keep up the good work!
Thank you

Have fun with this small guide. :)
Beautiful job on these! I would LOVE to see you paint some Bretonnians if you have a chance! Subbed!
There is a paladin tutorial on my channel already. ;)
@@Dizzyfinger I watched that one. Very well done. Always looking for more though ;)

If we talk about the whole hobby: I'm working on a whfb sylvanian styled empire army with many kitbashes and stuff. ;)
This looks great! I cant stand 10mm figures just undercoated black then some thick colour thrown at them.
I guess this would be enough on the tabletop. 😉
Hey Dizzy how about painting some 10mm zombies?

I don't got any models of those but would give them a try.
Base should be 40×20mm. Was that what you meant? 🙂
What did i say? 🫢
@@Dizzyfinger 50×20mm. But I saw in the comments that you say it is 40×20 🙂
What do you use to texture the bases?
Simple sand and small grit plus white glue
Can you give us a basing tutorial?
What do you need there? Materials? Paints?
@@DizzyfingerI just find basing for this scale difficult.

20x50? i thought it was 20x40 ?
@@Kreated_by_khaos Did i say fifty? Sorry. Of course twenty by fourty.
Your English is better than mine, and I'm English lol
Oops. Haha. Thank you i guess.
Can you do a tutorial on blood knights :)
I think i can. Just need to own them. ;)
Hey look at these
Have fun. ;)
