    Hey ladies! I just got into her teachings! If you have slip issues, braid ur hair 1-2 inches and crochet the spring twist hair in, braid an inch down…then twist. Also…i had an issue with my hair looking curled and not laying straight…i took a clothing steamer to the braids to straighten the hair to look more like knotless braids. U can’t dip the hair it will straighten it.

    I installed spring twists in my hair over the weekend, but I installed over a crochet braid pattern instead of doing individuals. That way it doesn’t slip.

    • @jaichanellie
      @jaichanellie  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      This is so smart!!!!! Did you do individuals around the perimeter for aesthetics or all crochet?

    • @SimsGirl4Ever
      @SimsGirl4Ever 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      JaiChanellie- Not this time, but I’ve had individuals done around the perimeter before. I love the look either way and using the crochet method is also helpful if you have relaxed/heat damaged straight strands of hair and don’t want them to eventually start sticking out of the twists. 😄

    • @jaichanellie
      @jaichanellie  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      See now you’re convincing me to try crochet!!!

    • @SimsGirl4Ever
      @SimsGirl4Ever 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      JaiChanellie- Your twists look beautiful the way you did them, but I’d love to see the results if you ever do decide to try the crochet method.

    • @jaichanellie
      @jaichanellie  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I will definitely keep that in mind! I’ve only done crochet once with curly hair, never braids/twists. Maybe i need to venture out 👀

    • @jaichanellie
      @jaichanellie  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think rollers are a good idea!!! Also if you can try using less tension/pulling when you're twisting so that the hair doesn't stretch out as much? I noticed that when I retouched twists they would stretch out a lot more, too.
