      @@mscolum Yeah same. The pandemic is what pushed me to start doing my own hair. That and a bad experience with a hairstylist that ripped my hair out.
      I've found that people who do their own hair, tend to have longer hair as well.

      Started having to pay bills and couldn’t go get my hair done no more so through trial and error and a lot of money wasted I finally got it lol you can do this 👏🏾

    My natural hair looks exactly like this when I twist it after I wash it. Just not as full. And after about a week or so I untwist it and I wear the twist out for a week then wash again. It’s Very convenient!

    They look almost like kinky twists. My spring twist hair is super springy. Too springy. I wish it looked 50/50 between mine and yours. I love how neat yours are. Perfect. 👍🏾

    I love spring twists. I wear them quite often. They do not weight heavy on the head and I love the natural look it provides. I just retouched my perimeter. Btw..Amazon has some really cute colors for these. Wonderful video! ❤️

    I like this you did a great job! Unfortunately I don't think I'm ever going to be able to learn to braid my own hair but for my next appointment I'm going to get this style done but with cornrows in the front instead! 😍 it looks beautiful!

    I’m going to do these soon. It’s my favorite winter go to in the PNW😍….if you can’t braid you can also start twisting at the root like with Senegalese twist.

    I love your tutorials!! They are really helpful and thank you for not being a GATEKEEPER!! I wanted to inform you that the shine and jam gel aren't good to use. I was taught it has lye (perm) in it. The pure o natural neatbraid conditioning shining gel is a great option. It can be found at Target or any hair store.

      Honestly the only difference is the fuller look. The added hair gives you more thickness. If you do this without the hair, you may see more of your scalp.

      I do it on my natural with just grease and water after i wash it and tie it dwn. It stay moisturized for a week or or 2, but i do spritz with plain water er'other day. .

      The technique is rest lol. I took breaks when I got tired. There’s really no technique. That’s the struggle of doing your own hair 😩

    hi . FEW PEOPLE HAVE ASKED BUT I DIDNT FIND AN ANSWER. I use to do this look as kinky twist different brand years ago lol.......this same look with this fluffed up with this brand.👍
    can you please clear up the length. Is it 16" UNFOLDED = 8" the cut length you used to install these twists.
    Just to confuse readers...... maybe.........So, you folded the 8" in half to install.

    Ive viewed many many many video. For some reason my twist Neva eva come out this full,but my natural hair does...i wonder wut am i doing wrong. I braid at the root,Ive used 3 different kinds brand hair to no avail, I've rolled then twist over each other, I've twist to the left then i redid it twisting to the right both to no avail...so yea....uhm i gave up.
