Welcome aboard! I'm so glad you are finding the videos helpful 😄
Oh my god. This information was the missing piece in my art, I always had a hard time creating my character's background. Then I realized with this video that the thought process should have been the other way around. Thank you!
I'm so happy I could help! I hope you have some artistic breakthroughs ahead :)
Another excellent video dude. You're turning into our own little aussie Marco Bucci haha 😄
Hahaha I wish, Thanks josh!
Nice tutorial, really well explained!
Thanks for watching!
Wow, that pumpkin example was really helpful
Hahaha Thank you :)
outstanding piece Matthew! Reeeally like the vibe. I really wish I could manage to integrate this kind of (proper) workflow in mine (flawed)
Thank you so much for watching! All it takes is practise, with that, I'm sure you can figure it out 🙂
Another great video, definitely an area I was struggling with.
It's definitely one of the harder concepts to get your head around, it's just so counter intuitive. Experimenting is the only way to get used to it. Good luck and keep working at it 💪✍
The way you explained this was great! I understand a bit more now.
Thanks for watching, I'm glad it was helpful!
This channel is a gem, i feel so lucky that i found it 🤗

Thanks cat!... or eleween.. if that is your real name
Great video I really like the tip at 9:07! I knew a bit about color relativity but I haven't really put so much thought into it! Thank you for the video
Thank you so much for watching!! I'm glad you got something out of it
Hey mate, this video was great, love the content and love your illustration. The production was awesome too, fantastic work!

Thank you so much!
sick piece! i put this on to catch tips while sketching but this was really interesting to watch and insightful
Thanks for watching nani! I'm glad you enjoyed it
the dot color example just looked grey to me lmao
Haha you are the second person to say that! Lucky you! Your eyes are not fooled by this illusion so you should be able to very accurately identify colours... just don't go walking in the jungle
When he was showing the dot I was like its gray... Help idk what he meant is blue or orange :c I just say it the same color all the time
Is smth wrong with my eyes? ._.
Ps: the video is still great and helped me :)
This is... so interesting 😯 I honestly have no idea, but this proves that we all see the world very differently. I would love to see through your eyes and experience it but I just can't. So I guess it's up to you to become a great artist and show us all what your world looks like! 😁
@@arandomguy1845 nothing wrong, I would guess you just see the world differently to me... it could even be a gift, your eyes are not confused by adjacent colours, you could paint amazingly accurate artworks without having to guess
@@arandomguy1845 ... just don't go walking in the jungle alone.. you might get eaten by a tiger 😵
Same. =\
Do yo uplan to upload more?
What software programs do you use?
Hi Tyler, I'm using photoshop
I love this piece! The way you explained color relationships and gave visual examples was really helpful, videos on the subject tend to have very complicated explanations or not enough examples, and I think you hit the perfect balance here, so thanks!
By the way, I tried joining the discord and got an error saying the link is invalid. It might have expired or hit the invite limit?
Thank you so much! I'm happy to hear that I'm striking a good balance.
And yes, I am new to this discord thing hahah I have fixed the link : discord.gg/rDehx5xcyU
