You are bringing those kids up like they should be!! Isaiah just impresses me every time. Heck my neighbors kid is 16 and don't even know how to use the socket wrench. Keep up the good work you guys!!
Hi Robert. I agree with you 100%. I think the older boy’s name is: Elijah. The other little guy is Issac. Hope I’m spelling their names correctly. They’re just a Really nice family.
Awesome, I had my son helping me build our house as soon as he could hold a hammer , his first car needed an engine , this was before the internet , he went to the library and got a few books and 2 days later hes driving his car , they will have failures but can always fix it , I taught him how to finish concrete run any piece of equipment etc. Today my son owns his own construction company, so you and your wife keep up the good work
The most important thing is not the color of the wheels, it is teaching your son how fix and solve problems and allowing him to voice his opinions. Great Job Dad.
This is so wonderful seeing you and Elijah working together, You are teaching him great work skills and dad and son time, he will always remember this and when he has children of his own he will tell stories of what you and him did together and all the things you and Angela have taught them.
Sam you have a great helper !! He takes after his mom always wanting to help!! Keep it up & tell dad if he wants that paint to stick he needs to sand them first . It roughs the surface so the paint will stick !! I say paint the back wheels sometime later is okay... & don't forget to regrease that front end after you blew all the grease off !!
A little paint here and there to protect it from rust will extend its useful lifespan. It just adds to the patina. Your time with the old Ford will as to it’s story. Your boys (and maybe even their children) will remember it.
Ok, first off: Love how you are being such an Awesome father to your kids. Second; I think you’re correct at leaving the patina on the tractor. The rims will get dirty soon and it will match the rest of tractor again. Lol.
Doesn't matter if it's a lawnmower engine or a tractor teaching him to use tools and how a mechanical engine works is definitely a good thing he will need in life. Good job Elijah! You did pretty good Sam…
Your son is growing fast with his abilities of learning. Next to come the youngest son. Watch out the day will come your sons will be taking on and caring for you guys. Teach them the ways to carry on. Agree the tracker is a 1963 leaving it alone. Wheels are okay in my opinion. No worries once around the wheels will be dirty again.
It looks great…. Keep going. Yes take the back wheels off and paint them too. I think touching up the blue paint will look much better and make it last better and protect from rust. This will add pride and value. Your son will learn a lot of good values in the process.
I just love watching you teach Elijah how to do stuff!! He’s such a great kid - helpful, polite, interested in learning new skills 🎉❤ You’re a great Dad, Sam 💕😘😘
Elijah surprised you which is really cool and his skills have come a long way. Great Job! His enthusiasm is so great and just a joy to watch! They do grow up fast and the time you spend with them is priceless!
That was beautiful Bro. Sam... and he is a marvelous young boy! Sam he looks like you when he's working and looks like his momma when he's smiling! I'm so proud of him being your right hand! You and Angela are so blessed to have them both... I look for to his projects... He is going to be a movie/TH-cam video star... Maybe a tree house for them next winter would be a nice project... Oh yea He will put grow you Brother it's ok... He will probably be like a bean stalk... I bid you all Bonds of Blessings and bonds of favor to you all and your businesses and Divine Healing and protected Health! I enjoy your channels and looking for to more of all your content...
I totally understand not wanting to go too far on the tractor as this is how we wound up renovating our entire house! Lol! It all started with a simple remodeling of our guest bathroom as at the time it was the worst room in our house. So it went from the worst and stood out ,to being the best room and again it stood out! Lol! As far as your tractor goes ,I think just preserving the natural patina that it has would be awesome! Your tractor has a story to tell, and that would be lost with a restoration. Boiled linseed oil is what you want to use on your tractor paint. It will keep the rust from growing and also shine up and protect the paint and patina.
I really do love that you are actively taaching with, "hands-on-lesssons" patient language, and the, "high-five encouragement and praise" you are so happy and proud to dole out to both of your son's for taking on new ,"to-do's" that are ALWAYS a big part of living on the farm and/or ranch!! Thanks for sharing this with us,l certainly appreciate it and you;;). Peace to All...💜💙💜
I felt like Angela was in this video because of Elijah lol he talks just like her and presses his lips just like her when he’s in agreement. He’s so adorable and growing so fast!!
First of all. Use tung oil for your oiling the metal. You would be suppressed by how wonderful it will work and it will last a long time. Next to see your son growing up and helping you is wonderful! God bless
Life is full of teachable moments with your kids. Make it fun and it will stick. You taught how to clean what you own and take care of it. Something that will pay dividends in the future. That it was an older piece of equipment is even better. Taking care of what you have and extending the life is a valuable lesson. The nice thing is that while you are teaching you are making memories, not just for Elijah, but for you as well. Kids grow up so quickly, when you get older memories of when they were young are priceless.
Oh goodness your son Elijah is such a great helper and really does a great job. I think that the wheels are looking so much better and I don't think it's too bad that they are so clean and great looking, it is an older tractor and it doesn't look bad having those tires all clean and painted, maybe just paint the back ones then all the tires will match, and once there is dirt and stuff on them they will match and look just fine with the old tractor, but you did a lot of good cleaning on the tractor and there is nothing wrong with that. Thanks for a great video that I really enjoyed watching, I hope that you have a great day, stay safe and happy, sending love and hugs, bye! 🤗😍👋👍🙏💜💜💜💜
Sam great job teaching Elijah the value of maintaining equipment and proper use of tools. Great example of fatherhood. May I recommend not using oil, it attracts dirt and etc. My recommendation would be to clean all grease, dirt and grime. Lightly sand rust spots and spray with clear coat. Good luck!
Great episode. We found the stop rust version of the Rustolium paint keeps the rust from coming through the paint. No rust after 3 years. The can you used had rust within a year.
Oh let Elijah decide what to do with the tractor and make sure he inherits it when he’s grown! He will definitely take utmost care of it. Such a handsome and fine young man.
Every man should know how to use tools, and it starts by teaching them when they are young. Good job teaching your son skills he will need later in life.
I love how you are including Elijah in your projects! There is no better way for a boy to learn how to be a man, and how to get things done. He clearly looks up to you as his Dad, as it should be. I love the front rims and would just let them be without further work on your tractor. There is much beauty to be found in things that are old and well used. It shows that they were useful and well used.
Elijah is growing up so fast! And he looks alot like his mama! Good job young man. I was shocked when you picked up those tires too!!! WOW!💪 I like the blue tractor the way it looks now. Get a little dirt on those wheels and they'll look fine! 😉😄 P.S. Good card trick. I'll put that in my memory bank, Thx!
💖 he has grown up so much in just the past few years I remember when he was just a small fry runnin round being silly with Isaac 😂 now look at him man handling those tires like they don't weigh nothing 😂 I know y'all are really proud of the lil man he's became 💕 he's a great helper to have around the homestead side note: love the old ford as is ~ I wouldn't change a thing✨💖✨
Go ahead and paint the back wheels too. That will match the front. A shoe shine is always good.....good maintenance and upkeep.....to keep the rust off. They end up with lots of muck n mud through use. Probably would be a good idea to do every year or so. It won't hurt the integrity to keep up the wheels. I love watching you work with and teach your son.
Awesome video!! Love seeing the boys get involved and learn life lessons early, invaluable!! 👋 Hey Angela! Guess you're locked up in the soap shed!😄 Running behind on videos, been carpenter and paint girl and getting that daggone thang done! Looooove your homestead and can't wait to see what y'all get into next!! Have a blessed day!
Hi Sam, I think I would take the time and paint the whole Tractor blue and paint the motor blue too, and of course, paint the rear rims that white so it will match the front rims, by doing this you would add many more years to that beautiful old Tractor not to mention how nice it would look. it would also preserve it as well. but just so you know I do also respect & appreciate the natural patina that this Tractor worked so hard to achieve...! From your friends here in Lima Peru George & Carmen
What a fantastic side kick…Mr Elijah. Loved his bloopers. 😂😂😂. Check out Vice Grip Garage (now in Tennessee) for his Shine Juice recipe. Might be what will work for your tractor. Love your family’s journey!!! ❤️❤️
A great time was had by you two and all your viewers. I agree with you Sam about your plans for the tractor. I love tractors. Your son is a natural at this work and strong too. See ya from Central Oklahoma
Good job guys! The tires looks great! I love your name Elijah! That is my Great Grandfather’s name too. This was a great teaching experience for Elijah.Your boys are growing up right before your eyes! They’re so handsome!
My baby!!! Wtg Elijah! 🤜 You are a handsome young man and look at those muskells! Enjoy hanging out with your Dad on these projects. A lot of guys don't get to do that. Big hugs little man! I love you and your family! ✌️💖🙏🇺🇲🇮🇱✝️🤜
Just as you released the valve stem my heater started and got air movement on me. 😆 tripped me out. Love seeing the young man helping dad. Good job kid!
I think you did the right thing. If you spend money on fixing up the tractor for aesthetic purposes, then you have to keep doing it and that's not practical. It's a work vehicle, best to keep it that way, in my opinion. Always, love watching you teaching and working with Elijah. You have taught him well. I see, he has the ability for doing things well! Sam, please give Angela my best. God Bless you all
I am glad to see Sam had the proper supervision
I felt that proud moment the wheel was removed effortlessly. Much Love and respect from our family to yours.
Both boys are polite and credit to Sam and Angela pleasure watching themgrxug
I vote to paint the tractor when the weather is better. Love the blue and white.
Today my son owns his own construction company, so you and your wife keep up the good work
Perfect Father/Son project loved the interface between both of you a priceless memory 💞
Such a great Dad. Good man leaving the paint job as is. Let the tractor tell the story.
The most important thing is not the color of the wheels, it is teaching your son how fix and solve problems and allowing him to voice his opinions. Great Job Dad.
You two are doing great with these boys. Let that tractor show its age.
It’s wonderful to see the values and work ethic that you and Angela have instilled in your children! Great job!
This is so wonderful seeing you and Elijah working together, You are teaching him great work skills and dad and son time, he will always remember this and when he has children of his own he will tell stories of what you and him did together and all the things you and Angela have taught them.
Finish the tires..they look nice. The new color matches the color emblem on the side of the tractor..Elijah did an awesome job.
What a handsome, handy, strong helper you have! Great job Elijah!
Not only is Elijah a good kid for wanting to help, but he really surprised me how easily he picked up that tire. What a strong boy!
Your little guy is so sweet and has an adorable smile!! You guys can be so proud of how you are raising your little sons!
You have a such good helper. I love seeing the children involved.. Great parents. God Bless you.
Elijah looks just like Ms Angela! Great job Mr Sam & Mr Elijah!!
Dad and son working together. Some of my best memories of my dad are when we did this kind of stuff. Love the card trick.
Good job Isaiah and Sam!
Elijah is becoming quite the mechanic. Great job Elijah !!!
Elijah, you did an excellent job helping out your dad! I like the white wheels personally but maybe do the back ones also.
What a great project for you and your son! Building quality memories❤
A little paint here and there to protect it from rust will extend its useful lifespan. It just adds to the patina. Your time with the old Ford will as to it’s story. Your boys (and maybe even their children) will remember it.
I think the tractor looks good. Don't sweat the small stuff. Love to watch you guys. ❤️
Great video Sam. And Elijah! Tractor looks good with her shiny new shoes!
And the bloopers! Lol. Like father like son. 😁 So cute!
Ok, first off: Love how you are being such an Awesome father to your kids.
Second; I think you’re correct at leaving the patina on the tractor. The rims will get dirty soon and it will match the rest of tractor again. Lol.
Good job teaching your kids how to fix things! ❤❤❤

it is nice to see the kids are involved and have chores.
I think that once a little dirt & mud cover the wheels it won't matter that they have been painted. I like it.

I like how it turned out.
The card trick was genius. I’m with your son paint the back ones :) But I love the old blue of the rest of the tractor I get it. 👍💞
Loved the way you started and ended the video with Elijah. You could have painted all four rims Ford blue and stopped there.
Excelente job Elijah.
Elijah you did a great job. Nice little helper.
Great job Elijah! You're the perfect mix of your parents. 💜

Glad to see somebody is raising their kids up right. Paint all 4 wheels to match.
So nice seeing the family, working together. Hugs to all.
First of all. Use tung oil for your oiling the metal. You would be suppressed by how wonderful it will work and it will last a long time. Next to see your son growing up and helping you is wonderful! God bless
I think after a while they will look fine. Great job boys!
I've seen truck bed liner paint the creamy color- Looks good either way. The original blue would look good and stop the rust.
Life is full of teachable moments with your kids. Make it fun and it will stick. You taught how to clean what you own and take care of it. Something that will pay dividends in the future. Sam, love your relationship with your oldest!! He's so cute - and smart.
Every man should know how to use tools, and it starts by teaching them when they are young. Good job teaching your son skills he will need later in life.
Great job. I would paint the back wheels so the old blue stands out. Plus it protects your rims from deteriorating with rust.
Hey dad, that Elijah is becoming quite a young man. He did a good job helping you.
I think it is an improvement. It makes the blue look better!
They look great and match well enough for now, and it won 't take long come spring to even them all out, if you ask me.
I love how you are including Elijah in your projects! There is no better way for a boy to learn how to be a man, and how to get things done. He clearly looks up to you as his Dad, as it should be. Your son is awesome! Glad you guys had fun together.
What a great dad!
Tires look good. Kinda matches the back ones. But a couple of times going in the dirt they will look just fine.
That tractor is just tooo sweeet! The wheels look great - nice job Elijah! So great that you are working with your son - very nice!
Elijah is growing up so fast! And he looks alot like his mama! Good job young man. I was shocked when you picked up those tires too!!! WOW!💪

Elijah.... you are such a champion! 💕
Tractor looks fine as it now sits! You two make a good team!
Thanks 👍
The wheels look fine. Drive the tractor through a few mud puddles and it will blend right in. Boiled linseed oil for a sheen on the old paint.
Taking care of the tractor is enough! Doesn't matter how it looks, it's all about how it runs 👍
I would suggest you look into Shine Juice or Wipe On Clear from Vice Grip Garage. It will protect and preserve the paint and patina.
The wheels look good and it is great teaching your son. It looks fine with the way the wheels are.
Good job guys! The tires looks great! I love your name Elijah! That is my Great Grandfather’s name too. This was a great teaching experience for Elijah.Your boys are growing up right before your eyes! They’re so handsome!
The wheels look great and I think they will blend together! Great job
I used Penetrol on an old car and it shines like new. Just have to reapply every now and then. Love the show.
My baby!!!
Wtg Elijah! 🤜
You are a handsome young man and look at those muskells!
Enjoy hanging out with your Dad on these projects.
A lot of guys don't get to do that.
Big hugs little man!
I love you and your family!

Great job Elijah you are a very good helper I know your daddy so proud of you and also Isaac tyfs hugs 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
I think it looks great! You have the best kind of help right there dad. Thanks for bringing us along.
Great job, Sam & Elijah! Love seeing you work with the boys. And actually, I do like the look of the new paint on the front wheels. Good to go.
Looks good thank you for sharing I really appreciate it
Just as you released the valve stem my heater started and got air movement on me. 😆 tripped me out. Love seeing the young man helping dad. Good job kid!
😂😂😂😂😂 Perfect timing!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Thanks for sharing! Got a good cackle imagining the look on your face😳😄😂🤣🤣🤣
Linseed Oil will do a great job of bringing out the original paint, and prevent rust.
He really enjoys helping you. He is building confidence everyday. I say paint the rear hubs and leave the rest.
Your tractor has "character"👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️
I think you did the right thing. If you spend money on fixing up the tractor for aesthetic purposes, then you have to keep doing it and that's not practical. Great job guys. I think painting the backs ones will work. God bless stay safe has well has health.
Looks good & Id do the back ones now.
