I’ve owned GS250 for almost 4 years now. Best car I’ve ever had. Super comfortable and reasonably efficient. Big enough for family of 4 with 2 weeks holiday luggage, yet so easy to manouvre thanks to its tight radius circle. The car is not super quick, but power output is more than enough and being V6 it sounds good and work smoothly. Moreover, I think this car aged so well.

Great video! I'm from the USA & own a white on red 2016 GS350 F-Sport that I bought three years ago & has easily been my best car yet. I had an IS prior, but the GS is a much better car overall. I've never seen a car that has cooled seats & no heated seats usually it's the other way around.

Thanks for this awesome review and the detail between the Luxury and F Sports models, really informative. Been looking at getting a GS350 in NZ.

Hey Chris, thanks for your kind comment! Great to see another fellow kiwi. Loving the GS so far. I hope to make more videos in the future. At some stage a full review. I would be more keen on the F Sport if you could also get it with certain features but a shame that you have to pick 1 or the other! Not that it's cheap, but it's easier to get a Luxury and slap on F sport parts (e.g. wheels, front bumper) than it is to buy an F Sport and get luxury features (a lot more work and money!)

Cheers for the vid Sammy! Just got one today, really helpful! :) I'll have to have a play with it tomorrow cause a lot of the options are in Japanese and the headrest is tilted really far forward.

How did you set the side mirrors to open/close on engine start/stop? Mine only opens/closes on locking and unlocking.

Great review Sammy, glad you covered off the Singapore spec with only chilled seats. Is the language in English on the interface ? Very conflicted on wether to splash out on this model or save some dollars and buy an IS? Cons of the IS are obviously terrible rear legroom, older design and less features. Cons of the GS are no heated seats on Singapore models, poor rear headroom and more $$. Big Pro of the GS is really nice leather colours available and the Lux pack seat options are pretty mind blowing. Also Japanese versions it’s not possible to get english language instruments on either IS or 2012 onwards GS? Is that correct ?

Thanks man! I hope to do a more opinionated review once I’ve had it for a little while and done the bumper conversion!
Yeah for the most part you nailed the pros and cons. The biggest pro for Singapore models is everything is English, so that’s really nice compared to JDM models. I’m sure you would be able to convert it to English if you got JDM, but it won’t be cheap and will take a bit of hunting around to do.
I’d be keen to retrofit heated seats to my model, and possibly heated steering wheel too (another thing you don’t get with SG models!)
If you did get JDM, then I would consider either GROM or Beat Sonic to give you Apple CarPlay etc.
I opted for the GS because of extra room, the more premium cabin and features. The IS’ best pro is styling. The rear headroom is probably still slightly better than the IS, but way better cabin space overall. Hope that helps!
