Waiting for a mistake is unfortunately the case for most tracks, which in turn means less about your skill and more about the driver in front lack of skill, maybe a cynical way of looking at it. You should give the Nascar trucks a go, they're running the same course. Totally unsuited imho but it would be a good comparison.
This series is so short that qualifying and the very first lap is pretty much all that matters, cause after that everyone will do about the same laps and passing is hard when everyone has the same tire, same usage, etc... On longer runs, you get to have fuel saving, tire management, etc... That's why I do not run this series.
Nice race, I love driving the Indycars but I am so slooow. Had a buddy in this race with you. The 12 car of Jordan Spoon
Indy cars are blast around Mid Ohio too!
Thanks Rob 😊
@@jordanspoon785 very nice drive Jordan.
Some high rated drivers in the mix, I would consider this a good result!

Its very true Ian. I think most of my iRating is build on that bases. Yeah, I did see the Trucks were here, not sure I'm going to get time sadly.

@@OSim42 I much prefer the longer races too, for these reasons.
