I am actually learning Spanish after several years of fooling around with the language. I had given up trying and was using a very small vocabulary for shopping, etc., in Ecuador where I now live. Danny Evans is the best instructor I have yet found. It will take a while but I am confident I will be a decent speaker of the language if I stay consistent. I am enthused about the possibilities now.

Thanks a lot for putting up these videos! This video was helpful and easy to understand. A few days ago I watched your series about the subjunctive. I had seen people hype it up as being a sort of mountain of grammar. Something extremely difficult. However, you made it so easy to understand that I feel confident in my subjunctive abilities already!

Thank you for the lesson, Doctor! I am glad to be back in the indicative after the terrors of the subjunctive. :)

The speculation case just saved me. I've had a few native Spanish-speaking teachers who weren't quite able to explain that usage and it was driving me nuts. So it seems "Ella habrá ido a la tienda," might be better translated in English as "She must have gone to the store."

I never use this sort of tense in English. I think it's safe to say, I don't need to learn this tense. I'll be happy with just knowing : present, preterite, imperfect, conditional, future, present perfect. Spanish is hard as is.
