I've never seen a fuel filter in the carb before. also I've been doing a top end rebuild on my 96 wave venture cuz #1 cylinder also failed. ive been fallowing your videos and there spot on. Great Video! ..you mentioned. Not needing to replace the needle seats...is that difficult? Seems like if they were included in the rebuilt kit, you would do it. (1997 EXCITER 220)

Hello, could you tell me which page you got those kits from?

On the back side you only use the rubber separation seal? Nothing else? None of the flat rubber seals or “paper” seals or anything?

Yea on the carbs there is an external fuel pump.

Doing good man, just bought one today. Number one cylinder has no compression what’s so ever but other two have 120 what could have caused it?

Without knowing anymore about it I would guess the oil injection failed on cylinder 1 and the rings seized to the piston or the piston just cracked. Good luck with it man.

When you said reset the screws what screws are you referring to?

I’m not sure, what part of the video? Probably the high and low speed carb screws if I had to guess.

At the end of the video you said “Off video I reset the screws” I’m going to be performing the same Carburetor rebuild and is there some kind of precision reset for the screws that I need to know? Or in this video is that all that needs to be done for rebuilding these carburetor so the next step would be install them back on the motor and start them up?

@@surferjoe655 I was talking about re-setting the high and low speed screws. If you took them out when cleaning you need to set them back to what they were before.

@@MarleyJaxGarage You should include those specs along with part numbers used for the kits/jets and the size of the fuel line in the desc.
