    This guy don't have a clue 1st thing you need to do is check your pop off pressure once you get your carburetor together you need a air hose to blow through all your orifices there is far more to it than this or you will get it together and even if it runs you will end up frying a piston

      any video that shows proper way to do it?

    So you're not going to blow through your jets with carb cleaner that's a big mistake and you're not going to check the pop off pressure on each carburetor another big mistake and always check for an air leak on the entire jet ski because just a loose gas cap or a bad tank valve will fry a piston

      Also you want to check your high and low speed jet settings to make sure nobody has messed with them and set them by the book all those things are always a good idea

      I was thinking the same thing. No compressed air throug any ports. So important to remove the low and high speed jets and clean through them as well as pop off pressure and air leaks. I go as far as putting a little Yamabond on the treads of the bolts as I've seen air leaks come up trough them.

    you didn't show to adjust the high and low speed throttle

    • @wessmith3635
      @wessmith3635  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      There's a knob you can turn to adjust idle. But to adjust high and low you have to drill out 6 plugs and get T handles to adjust them. I didn't have to adjust them.

      On the idle knob? Take it to the water, start it and adjust in the water. It should only pull you maybe 3 mph on idle alone.

    You probably shouldn't be rebuilding carburetors
