Hurricane Watch issued for Ernesto in the Caribbean

A Hurricane Watch was issued this morning for the Virgin islands, Culebra, and Vieques ahead of Tropical Storm Ernesto, which is expected to arrive overnight. The storm is currently passing St Kitts and Nevis, and Tropical Storm Warnings extend from Guadeloupe through to Puerto Rico today, with winds of 50 miles per hour possible at the moment. However, strengthening is likely later today, and Ernesto could reach hurricane status as it pulls away from the islands tomorrow morning.
Whilst rainfall expectations have dropped a fair bit, wind impacts are now the dominant risk for the islands. Rainfall of up to 6 inches is still possible across the Lesser Antilles.
Later this week, Ernesto is expected to strengthen further and reach Category 2 hurricane status, and could pass very close to Bermuda this weekend as it slows down. As a result, hurricane force winds and extremely heavy rain is possible for the island, with up to 24 inches on the forecast. Later next week, the storm could impact Atlantic Canada, and the risk to the United States is very low.

**Please read because this is important**
Just a quick reminder that as of August 14th, I will no longer be a subscriber of F13. Why? Well, long story short. I have been watching F13 since February 2024 and i was partially addicted to this channel a day or two after. In March, I decided to subscribe to this channel mainly because of the animations and TWBs. After I found out that F13 abused the copyright system MULTIPLE TIMES, and he wrongfully banned FCX from Nathan’s community, my hatred of this channel has spiked up faster than Patricia intensifying. I don’t think Nathan knows that abusing the copyright system is wrong. Duly note that I will still be watching F13’s cyclone tracker, but only for a short amount of time. I will start frequently watch nxthan’s animations, as his are better than these animations. I hope you understand this comment, and F13, if you are reading this, I hope you change in the future. I will just be taking a break from watching TWBs and/or animations.
