I enjoy this channel and get some great info here, but I'm also burnt out on every vid starting with "I've coached thousands of men, I've made so much money, I'm living my dream life, I work with incredibly successful people, etc." Somewhere there's a line between credentials and bragging, and I often feel Connor falls on the wrong side of it
It’s less about credentials and more trying to reinforce the patterns I see across men all over the world. Valid feedback tho. I’ll dial it back and find other ways of communing my point. Appreciate you 🙌🏽🙏🏼

I resonated with #5 (outsourcing validation), #3 (consuming calorie-less content), #4 (ignoring finances), #1 (shitting on yourself), #7 (lack of daily/weekly structure), #8 (disregarding rest), #9 (holding onto resentment), #10 (isolation when times get hard). Thanks for the video, Connor.
Here’s to a better 2025. I was set to visit the woman of my dreams in two weeks, the woman I love. As a fearful avoidant, she had supported my growth and therapy. I wanted to use the visit to move us forward. I bought an engagement ring. I must have taken too long or been on a totally different wavelength. She ended it on Christmas Eve. I was completely blindsided and I feel broken again.
I'm sorry to hear that. That's a crap xmas present. Try to be gentle on yourself being a fearful avoidant myself you probably just waited too long and with the distance she possibly realized how imbalanced the relationship was,. Regardless it took tremendous courage to ask her to be your wife and this courage and opportunity will be there again in the future. And you are not the same man now that you were when you first met this woman
Just wanted to say I have enjoyed your channel this year after finding you on Modern Wisdom. As a former psych major myself I wish they focused more on men's struggles (but at the time it was even more overlooked and ignored than it is today). I appreciate your common sense, rational, and real approach and wish you the best in 2025.
I'm right around 6 weeks into my permanent transformation and I'm feeling so much resistance. The last few days I feel I just went completely back to square one. I am staying up too late, getting to work right before time to clock in, I'm not reading your book, I haven't exercised in a few days because I'm crashing after a 12 hour shift and getting the kids to bed and I'm making excuses... Shits really hard for me right around the time frame they say you break bad habits. I think when the dark motivation wears off I struggle REALLY bad with doing things because I want to do them and I know they're good for my life, not because I feel like I have no other choice but to do them.
I’ve made a lot of progress in certain areas this year but I’ve been completely stuck in some very important areas. I am locking in again for 2025. I probably need to do 80% of these.
Great list! Thanks for putting it together. I'd love to see a separate video/podcast about resentment and forgiveness. This one resonated for me. And I'd also be curious to know more about your morning and night time routines, if you're open to sharing. Thanks!
I think my biggest issues are shitting on myself and disregarding rest. In a way one feeds the other, but it’s all based on feeling bad about how I don’t have a job, only rejection emails.
1:53 first ask yourself why did this mechanism develop in a person. Protective helplessness helped in the family dynamic that has been elevated to a social dynamic. By shading on yourself you're putting yourself and a lower position that somebody can help you go to a higher position because they can see the potential in you When you can't see the potential in yourself
My wife cheated on me for 7 months and I stayed with her to keep the family together. A year later I did the same and she left me and she is after me and told her family the worst. Do I try and get her back or do I suck it up and move forward?
Just keep hustling and grinding your hairline away until you reach your alpha prime peak at 60yrs old - then at 60, all the young pretty 18-25yo supermodels will flock to you. Until then keep paying for counseling sessions from Richard Blooper (The Buttplugged Alpha)

Hi. Thanks for the video Connor. I have a question. If I don't feel that I'm interesting to a woman if I'm not making her laugh and I feel that my relationship will go down just because of it what can I do? I think if I'm not a humor maniac, the girl will just not be interested in me. I like humor, but it makes interaction with females really awkward sometimes because if you're out of good jokes, well... Good luck to you making dumb jokes. Sometimes they laugh at them too but sometimes isn't always and I feel really dumb about myself after it.
As a woman I appreciate you telling men to stop blaming women for their shortcomings. I can't tell you how tiring it is to give a man a shot even know how damaged he is and their projections and insecurities leave me know choice but to hold them accountable (which make them cowardly run away from an uncomfortable conversation) or I have no choice but to dump them. There are woman like me willing to give an evolved emotionally mature man a chance even knowing his baggage, but get it together men. We are not your mothers or therapists.

I like the credentials why would I take advice from someone who only mentored their cat 🤦🏻♂️
Once I hear a content creator say those words I automatically click off! 😅
Sounds like that is triggering an insecurity within you since you’re potentially not on that path?

This single video was more beneficial to me (personally) than a whole Jordan Peterson book.
Damn, appreciate that. Glad it hit home
#9 and #10 are ones ive been working on all year

Thanks! Resentment and forgiveness is a great topic - definitely on the list!

You don't know? Dude... move on. You're in a toxic relationship.
Why would you get someone Back who cheated on you? My oppinion: you should have left her the Moment you found Out.

Some women go through this too I feel. Maybe it's a people thing. Maybe people need to stop doing this.

😂, I can understand why, seems like I hear a lot of blame and no accountability on your end. It works both ways.
@@therealjd1503not all situations require both people to change. Many do, but many just require you don’t choose someone immature to start.

LOL why don't you take some accountability?
