(event done) Best way to farm "A key to salvation": Escape from Tarkov tank battery event tips

- Escape from Tarkov started a Tank battery event "A Key to Salvation", and I guarantee you're farming it wrong. In this video I give you the rundown of the new event such as how the event works, showing tank battery locations, and other in's and out's of the event. I even reveal my secret sauce to safely & easily finishing your quests and unlocking your acid flare barter trade ASAP, and have a gameplay segment of said path for you to follow along to.

EDIT: My bad guys I swear I put PvE in the title. I edited it in after y'all pointed it out. The only tip I have for quick PvP farming is to either go to dorms and hope car extract is there, or go to stronghold and use the power extract underground. If prices on PvP side increase, then you guys can play the market for money and just buy the keycards like the video suggests.
BONUS TIP: depending on the current prices, you can barter your vita juice for multvitamins at Jager Lv2 and sell it on the flea market for more money and less flea market fee penalty. Currently you're able to barter two vita that sell for 100k each into a multivitamin that sells for 350-400k.
Why did the price of these go up? Did they add barters for these?
@@JasonsOkatGames Multivitamins and H202 are used for the acid green flare barter once you finish the quest, it takes a lot for just one flare so the prices of these items went up a lot. Defibs are needed as well, but you only need one per barter so those didn't increase in price as drastically. And Vita juice barters for multivitamins at Jager 2.

I've never looked through the pawn/bishop buildings much, I'll check them out on the next reserve run I do :D

Best way to farm; spawn crackhouse, rush fortress for battery , wait for chads to flip power = profit
When we get that spawn as a squad, we send one dude to jump the wall to power while the other guy clears out stronghold and extracts the battery :P
I did just that.. got so much cash out of it that I turned in a set and have a complete new set of cards in my stash. the flares are great for doing coop extracts also to boost your fence rep. labs is full of h2o2 and vitamins in and around blue and black rooms so basicly 0 risk if you take sewer out.
I'll have to check that one out, sounds like that'd be faster than the interchange run and you could make some bank with blue/black rooms too.
I would also like to add if your killing time and don’t wanna deal with scavs is be a player scav on Streets of tarkov by the “entrance of catacombs” there is a store on the left side before extract, I was able to get about 20-30 vita within a day. But it’s just tedious if don’t got lower scav timers
I rarely played streets before (as it was an unoptimized mess) but I'm quickly finding out the sheer amount of loot there. I'd imagine if you can hit all the grocery stores you'd be able to get out with a ton of vita juices, but I haven't bothered making a path for that yet

you can get two tank batteries in one raid, though it is rng base off spawn and vehicle extract. You can get the tank battery from gas and drop it off at VE, then get the one from dorms and grab the one you dropped and extract. Best to go with a low weight kit to be able to move around easily. Once again massive rng but do able.
We managed to stack my friend with 2 tank batteries (gas and dorms) and get him out from vehicle extract once, he hit ~170kg since he was looting all the raiders too lmao. We wanna try for all 3 (or 4? some say there's a double spawn at stronghold sometimes) and see if you can even pick up all 3
I have a better tipp, farm mechanical parts, they are everywhere and cost on pve between 70-90k and buy tankbatteries für less than 950k, (or less the lower the price the higher the win) barter for redcard and sell red card to terapist for 10,4mio
That's a decent idea, but where do you farm mechanical parts reliably? Personally I only rarely find them in filing cabinets, and as rare loose loot in hardware spawns.
okay thats helpful as hell, even if i was enjoying to farm the raiders and the boss on customs just to extract on strongholds with 120 kgs of weight

It looks like the prices will be higher post-event since the flare barter remained in PvE, but it has definitely gone down a lot since the event. Defibs skyrocketed while H202 plummeted, and everything else kinda settled at a happy medium.

it takes 200k fee to sell the h202 for 200k i just was about to till i saw that btw on pve
I forgot to add a note about the fees yea. I swear I just sold some last night at ~160k and it was only a 40k fee though.

I was so torn when I found out about the price spike. The night before, I was going to stock up like 50 of them for my SJ6 barters (8k each at the time) but was tired and told myself I'll do it tomorrow x.x

Sorry for misleading, I swear that I put pve in the title somewhere but it didn't save I guess .-. Maybe prices will rise in PvP and we can put this to use in both sides :D
people like you are why I sold 130M worth of PVP stash to complete this quest so you can complain about anything else while I play PVE and wait for the next wipe a month from now that I don't even care about after so many years.

how to open the m995 barter?
The barters open at lv1 mechanic for everyone, but I'm 99% sure the event is done now. I tried hunting the raiders last night but none were spawning, yet the tank batteries were still spawning; probably some bug that occurred when BSG removed the event.
