Poor guy prob just threw an ak together with parts in his stash to do a quest and not only does he get dunked on by a nade he gets thousands of people ripping on his AK.
I was thinking the same thing, I’ve done plenty of builds where I just want to empty my inventory and just throw random crap on and run with it till I die
I dont think theres a singular person on this planet that plays tarkov and would complain about someone helping them build a better gun.

A suggestion, I noticed that these type of vids mostly mention "if you do not have max traders"
I would find it interesting to watch some vids that are more "if you have max traders and money isnt an option" or "what are the go to builds/attachments for late wipe"
I find that getting rubles and rep in this game is pretty easy. i fiddle a lot with my weapons too, currently this wipe i can see that ergo is the primary focus for this raid, recoil is honestly fine to deal with.
anyway, keep up the good work bro.

That originally looked a bit like the 'things I found in raid' build and I love it for that, alone. Not only that buffer tube but no pad on the stock. I.. Why?? The things I've dropped to bring the various "I can't buy this!" mods out doesn't bare thinking about - day 1 Salewas? who needs them? I found a Zhukov stock and it's coming home with me..
I second this. Day one Zhukov means Day two SWAG Timmy time for me. And Day three praying the insurance returns.
sometimes people forget its a game. i run thermals ontop of guns i built based entirely on "it looked cool". The constant meta seems so tedious
This alone is the sole reason I don’t spend as much money on gun attachments, 90% of what I use is stuff I find in raid.
The only things I usually buy are maybe specific handguards, rails for them and laser light combos
I think that taking the player level into consideration is a great improvement to this series, great change giga
I feel like im finally getting out of the "what is happening" stage of the game, i know a few maps a little bit and my gun game is looking decent. Ive been watching for ages but i finally actually get to use your tips and tricks! Getting close to lvl 3 traders for the first time!

I tend to go for a 'value engineering' or 'bang-for-your-buck' approach in my builds, which is why the X400 remains my go-to. It's a flashlight and a laser, it's perfectly functional, and relatively inexpensive. I tend not to use BIS anything unless it also happens to be inexpensive, or if it's very late in the wipe and I've just got tons of money to burn. I also recognize I'm not the best gamer in the world, and using my Banger builds it's super easy to just brush off a loss, re-gear and go again. Plus, there's NOTHING more satisfying than taking down a PMC who's using a buttstock that costs nearly as much as your whole build.
I usually go with Olight for the same reason, cheap and functional .
yeah the x400 is great its a cheap flashlight laser combo, I need a laser more than a flashlight to "blind" people
Everytime nikita said they are gonna rework recoil what they really meant was that they were gonna make 7.62 AKs unsuable.
like i don't mind the actual vertical recoil but the gradual horinzontal spread increase is just too horrendous to use them as of now.
Full auto should be fairly hard to control tho. The meta build laser beams are unrealistic
And full autoing any piston operated gun is very hard to be accurate
What I also don't understand is why every 'meta' build uses the MOE FG (Foilage Green) instead of the MOE OD (Olive Drab). They already went for the ugly bright green to safe some money but there's a Dollar cheaper green version which is less of a thumb in your eye.
IIRC it used to be the most available back in the day where the other colors were more expensive and had less in stock. No idea if this is true though.
I dont get why you dont buy the Black version.
If you already playing a meta part, why dont you make in blend into the weapon

I actually like to use the weird colors lol, sometimes I will run all black, but I like the wonky look of a green or brown stock on a black gun, it's not like the stock is going to affect camo, and I don't even play hidden most of the time.
You'd be surprised how often you get a mismatched colours build back from insurance as opposed to a matching one.
Never realized the ak buffer tube was that much of a negative! That said, if i still find myself with all magpul parts sitting in my stash, definitely gotta slap on the CTR for the drip aspect. It's like running all plum parts on the AK-74: sometimes a man just wants to look good
The all plum 74n with a Vortex Razor on top for a little extra plum and a Waffle/JMac is surprisingly nice to run.
He's using a hybrid suppressor, that's either for cheap or Ergo. Which is what I'd do anyway with the tube and FAB CORE stock. Its more important these days than recoil since the nerfs. As for not using the .308 adapter, I'll say not all of us got a traders maxed. Especially Mech, fucker asks for way too much money to sell to. I see why to replace the tube, but I'd rather try and get one of the tube adapters that let me use my own tube, try and get the Strike tube, and then get that FAB stock on it. Max the ergo, rip em to shreads

Went from a decent looking ak to a very ugly ak , thats just person preference tho i get that its for better stats and better vang for your buck but wow was that end result ugly
I hate the look of the magpul foregrip, i dint care how good its stats are.
They need to revamp the buffer tube buffs for AKs, since they’re not actually a functioning mod on an AK platform imo
thats why you have different platforms. AR tubes are not designed for AKs, and so it makes sense why ak stocks designed from the ground up works better.
I miss using 7.62x39 AKs, basically unusable this wipe unfortunately. I love them in every game I play, but at this point in time they are useless in tarkov
Could viewers maybe submit builds to be reviewed/fixed by you? Not sure how to do this logistically (discord maybe?) but I think it would be cool. :)

Oooof, yeah you're not even getting the best use of that buttstock. For cheaper, you can probably just grab a normal akm stock and a buttpad for a minimal loss in stats and save the MOE one for something that's stuck with a buffer tube.
Even if he had a Meta AKMN he still would've been dead.
you can get a similar stat range with a 103 though for way less i feel.
this video is basicly "i picked up some guys gun, lets rag on it, for not having everything thats best in slot.
I play only PVE and the main problem with this AK is that it's not buetiful)
I was using a very similar AK build theses days, didn't know that buffer tubes weren't great on the AK imma change that.
The PT AKM is also a good option. I think it's skier 2, with the PT-1 and the buttpad, you get 54 ergo and 81 recoil.
The 308 adapter is junk. Loud AK for the win.

Gonna argue with you here. ME4 adapter, anodized ARE tube, DD ECB with the 20mm buttpad. Drops your ergo five points but your vertical recoil goes down to 80 and horizontal to 199

we're really putting so much into a mediocre weapon. Just sell this thing and get an AKM, who doesnt have 3 cans of tushanka for a superior weapon
It would be neat if there was a way to give loot back to the original owners. One could either be super nice like Gigabeef and upgrade the gun, or just strip valuable parts off and return the rest so the lootee doesn't have to spend too much money rebuilding his loadout
100% might have been another player that died to you, but I definitely have been rocking that exact gun for a decent chunk of the wipe lmfao.
It is, however cool to see how to fix the builds without the gunsmith quests being all weird
I'm not sure why I'm watching these videos just something about giga explaining this that I enjoy. I do enjoy watching him take the gun out and doing some pvp with it though, which seems to be missing as of lately..

i love this build, though I normally use the Hybrid sight because it's so flexible, 3x for medium ranges and 1x for anything closer.
For me, the biggest crap is what stats will come out when you use MOE and Tube..this is so stupid

It it comes down to recoil vs ergo also tue bastion is like half the price and on lower lvl traders but i use the dog leg more because i think it looks better

I never understood why AK systems need a buffer tube. The bolt carrier group doesn’t even contact the buffer spring. It’s blocked by lower receiver… I don’t get it. It’s irl of course

honesty i dont think the "rebuild" is any good. My reason y is because ur still going to be spending hella money on that build which is very subpar for the price and has almost exactly the same vert recoil with minimal changes with the horizontal recoil compared to the original. So if anyone here is thinking about using that build. Just use an sks with the scope mount on it with a 20rd or 35rd mag and just tweak the gun a little bit to your liking because it will just be way more reliable and cost efficient.

People who build weapons due to aestethics, uses whatever they find ,etc, already know they are not running meta and won't care. However, people who actually try to build the best weapons they can but can't be arsed to go through all the options can actually benefit from this information.

The original and rebuild recoil looked the same to me… if anything the rebuild had a quicker muzzle climb with the same total magnitude.
