holy crap you are good! i was getting so bored with seeing the same moves in tutorials over and over. i really loved all the moves i saw and feel like i could learn a lot. thank you!
That was so nice of you to present this as a transition tutorial . I'll look forward to trying some of your combos .You have a lot of great transition ideas and know a lot of advanced moves . It must have taken you a long time to come up with and memorize this sequence .I think it would also be fun to see you and your friend perform it together .
Really great video, i learned alot in just 8 min. I was feeling low on inspiration for new tricks, but now i feel i have alot to learn. I love the clear instruction, fast to keep things moving but slow when more clarification is needed. From another hooper (hooping hannah), ive found the walk the dog into a one knee hoop is really fun.
Thank you so much for this video! I've been hooping for about the same amount as your student and I was having the same issue with trying to figure out how to transition! It also has plenty of new moves for me to learn too :]
This is just an awesome video. I couldn't find out what the names are and how to get into those tricks. As you showed it slowly and with description, you helped very much. Thank you! I won't stop till i will learn all of those!!
thank you, not that I'm gonna copy this routine haha, but it's helped to see how to break it down. I also have no dance experience whatsoever and have been finding it hard getting my moves to flow... I know a few things that go together, but something has just clicked in the way you explain it for me... time to actually make a routine to follow and practise! And I can't yet do the back or chest rolls so yours were way better than any attempt I could make at the mo! :) Happy hooping!
Aren't you sweet?? Thanks so much! I live in Scottsdale, AZ. If you're ever in town, contact me, and let's hoop!! Where are you from? I'm putting the final touches on another transitions tutorial that should be finished within a couple weeks. If you want a sneak peek at it and care to give me constructive criticism/suggestions, send me your email address to pam@pamhoops.com, and I'll send you the link!
Where are you from Pam? You seem like a really cool down to earth hooper, and your videos are very helpful to a beginner-intermediate hooper like myself. I would love to take one of your classes.
Thanks, Janet! i haven't made one yet. I'll put that on my "to do" list and alert you when I get one up. I do have links to three that I like, though, on my website, pamhoops.com, if you want to check those out and see if they're helpful. The key for me to get it up from knees is to concentrate on using one leg and really giving that leg two quick pops straight up to get the hoop headed in the "up" direction, and then a wiggle/wiggle or shimmy/shimmy to get it the rest of the way up.
I live in Riverside, CA. I don't make it to Arizona too often, but if I do, I will definitely let you know. I am interested in checking out your new transitions video, so I will send you an email. Thanks for making videos for the blossoming hoopers. =)
It's an old tutorial, and I can't remember exactly what size I was using at that point. It was probably about a 36 inch hoop, and I made it with 1/2 inch PE tubing and taped it with tape from Hoopologie.

I'm so glad you liked it, Brittney. Makes me so happy to spread the hoop love to others!!!
Laid off my hoop for a few months. This is like a refresher course. It’s easy to follow . Thanks!
This was exactly what I was looking for! Can't wait to see more. Thanks Pam!
Your friend Trish is very lucky to have someone like you to help her out. Love the video!

What weight is your hoop? :)
777iza Sorry. I just saw this comment now. This hoop was made with PE tubing, 125 psi, 1/2 inch.
