  • In this video, I will show you how to do a banded knee extension exercise. This exercise is a great way to strengthen your quadriceps muscles and help to reduce pain from patellar tendinitis.
    It is a low-impact exercise that can be done at home with a resistance band. A stronger patellar tendon can help you improve your "jumper's knee".
    To do this exercise, you will need a resistance band.
    Tips:
    If this exercise is too easy, you can use a seated knee extension machine.
    If you feel any sharp, shooting, or stabbing pain, stop the exercise immediately and talk with your physical therapist.
    Benefits:
    Strengthens the quadriceps muscles.
    Improves running, jumping, and squatting.
