This video teach me something . N= negative and P= positive and to know if it npn or pnp just know that p positive in red and n negative is black that's it
Hi! What if I get a reading with only one of the other two terminals? Does this mean that the transistor is broken? (tested transistor: A2149) Thank you.

Thank you I was looking for this. 1. How can I determine if it is npn or pnp by looking at the datasheet? 2. Some schematics write *Gate* , *Source* and *Drain* . In this case, do *Emitter* and *Collector* mean *Source* and * Drain*, respecitively?
How to know if it is PNP or NPN, well... Before you use them in a circuit and connect to something I would strongly reccomend you take a look in ANY DATASHEET connected to number on the cover of your transistor
If you are using analogue multimeter this will be wrong. In analogue multimeter you have to test with black negative probe on the base of npn transistor and opposite in pnp.
negative charge passes through the emitter, and a positive charge out the collector.(talking about PnP) when an amount of charge is passed through the base, or middle prong it allows energy to pass through. picture the scenario, A battery is powering a low voltage lightbulb, but energy flow passes through the tranistor.(collector to emitter) a copper wire is attached to the middle prong or base, when I touch it, energy passes through and the lightbulb lights up. I believe nPn is of the opposite nature. But I'm still learning how transistors work and I know this doesnt answer your question. I'm not an electrition and most likely got the entire idea wrong. But I hope this helps. : )
thank you so much, my friend! Clear and simple! Greetings from Italy!
thanks so much tech wish all vdeos was like this pure and simple helped so much lol xxx
Welcome

So clearly explained, thank you
Indeed you explained in a simple manner
Thanks
I had to do a project on transister this help me a lot . Thank you bro.
Glad it helped
Well explained and easy to understand. Thank you.
Welcome
excellent, clearly explained, helped me a lot, thanks for posting

You are welcome...
Thank you for your very clear explanation.
Thank you, India friend!
Welcome...
Very clear explanation 👌 good job brother thank you so much 🙏❤.

It was helpful for me, thank you
Glad it helped!
Nice video shot, thank you for sharing it, keep it up :)
very superb explanation
Thanks brother
good method. Well done! Thank you
Very good method..
Thanks
sir how to measure resistance.this video is very nice i am supporting you.

V informative vedio thank you brother.... ✌️
Always welcome
Cool test method brother..but .what is the unit for reading.... .? If y don't mind
what if the PNP transistor one has reading of 362 and the other one is O.L what does that mean ?
Thanks man

gate source drain is mosfet transistor ...simple transistor are npn and pnp
Thank you 😊

Thanku sir very nice......
I have a transistor when I connect negative lead to left and positive lead to middle and right I get reading then what type of transistor it is?
NPN Transistor
Thanx
Welcome
Great
Sir. Thanks is this way testing all transistors. Like bd139
Lol that random creature walking in view.
This is India :D
Dont u selling tv parts
nice thanks
Most welcome
Thank you sir
good sir
Awesome!
Thanks
and if they are burned :)?

Sir I satisfies
why we will not reading in reverse condition...???
Because it's a diode back to back and diode will only conduct one way
Sir aise practically video whole instruments ka dijiye
Dono side me reading show kar raha hai kaise check kare
Kit me laga huva hai isiliye Aisa dikha raha hai kya sir
Differentiate between NPN and PNP transistors. According to you which one is going to switch faster.
؟؟؟؟
i find my transistor burned it give nothing how ican know his type
If you can able to see the part number of the transistor then you identify the type PNP or NPN
@@TechStudyCell the number i see is A 684 y922
but how to chek it is good or bad

You can check with a simple transistor tester circuit.
👍
This video create confusion, please explain in more detail
When connecting a transistor in a circuit, why must the technician know whether a
transistor is NPN or PNP?
