Hi! In this video, I have shown How to test BJT transistors. For Testing FET transistors like MOSFET please refer my previous videos: How to Test MOSFET : th-cam.com/video/IF740E5bm84/w-d-xo.html
You all prolly dont give a damn but does anyone know a method to get back into an instagram account..? I somehow forgot the login password. I would love any help you can give me!
@Johan Joseph I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and im trying it out now. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
After watching several videos on how to do it, was about to give up. This video finally made me understand, the best and the simplest video. Thank you so much.
Thankyou International Professional Tutors & Instructors.Your Video Tutorials in Electronics Engineering is also what I have been undergoing studies in PNG..
Nice explanation. I understood how to test diodes but didn't know how to test transistors. By relating transistors to diodes it helped understand better. Thank you brother.
Thank you so much. It is indeed a very helpful video sharing your electronic skills with others who really need to enhance their electronic knowledge. Pls. Keep it up.
I have a A928 H 05Y at my hand at it's a pnp transistor. But voltage for bothe pn junction is exactly the same at 703. Now I know the base but how do I know which one is the collector and emmitor?
Dear sir can u help me ?? my transistor is damaged and i didn't find a transistor on market so what is the optional of that transistor no. MCR100 i am searching this for RGB rope light controller but i can't find this transistor
Awesome. One thing though. Current doesnt always flow from anode to cathode. It depends on the charge. Only - charge will flow from cathode to anode but + charge will flow from anode to cathode.
Identify BASE terminal: You will not get any reading in multimeter across the collector & emitter terminals. But if you connect the Red lead with BASE and black lead with collector or emitter of NPN transistor you will get reading. For PNP transistor you will get reading by connecting the Black lead with BASE and Red lead with collector or emitter. Please refer the following videos for MOSFET: th-cam.com/video/IF740E5bm84/w-d-xo.html

@Johan Joseph It worked and I actually got access to my account again. Im so happy!
Thank you so much, you really help me out :D
@King Logan No problem =)
After watching several videos on how to do it, was about to give up. This video finally made me understand, the best and the simplest video. Thank you so much.
I love how you explained the workings of the transistors as well. Helped me understand more. Thanks
First one on YT who know how to describe it well! Thank you.
This is excellent. Tempting to copy your diagram and put it up for easy reference near my bench. Exceptional clarity...great teacher.
Thanks for the feedback

Best teacher in the world
This is very easy to understand. Thank you for this. Love from Bangladesh.
Thankyou...You are a great help to my studies in Electronics on Transistors of PNP & NPN Functions...
Very clear explanation! Thanks for this great video!
Here is where the video starts about NPN and PNP:

Thank you for clear and relax teaching
This is a great video and should be bookmarked for quick referencing.
Thanks for the feedback 😊
Thank you so much. It is indeed a very helpful video sharing your electronic skills with others who really need to enhance their electronic knowledge. Pls. Keep it up.
thank you that was very practical and clear without the confusing mess of theory
Thanks
One of my doubt has vanished by your great idea. Thank you sir.
you are so good as a teacheryou make it sound easy to understand brill thanksso much colin xx
Thanks! This has made sense for the circuit I was trying to reverse engineer/figure out.
Thank you Sir for your explanation. Really easy to understand. Best regards from 🇧🇷. God bless you
You are most welcome
Good instruction. Tq. It's great to see real actual measurements and practical working. Subscribed!
Awesome, thank you!

My collectors and emitters are the same. So how can i know then who is who?
This is very helpful
Thanks
Excellent lesson
Thanks

Hi Bro I have XDs digital SMD PNP transistor what is the break down voltage BE, CE ,BC when test with mustimeter Thanks
Great.
Easy to understand.
Thanks
Hi, so what kind of transistor is this?sT C 945 G G2 .. this is written on it, I wonder what is the equivalent so i can replace, thanks!
Fantastic video, thank you!
Glad you liked it!
..thank you sir . God bless
Welcome
Best explaint
Ok. So what if I get nothing from the middle to either side but I get a reading from the left to the right, what does that mean. Thank you.
Super video.
Thanks
Dobry materiał!
So on a PNP transistor if I get NO reading between middle(black) and either outer legs(red) the transistor is bad?
Yes
@@TechStudyCell Awesome! Thanks for the reply.
nice thank you bokka
many thanks !
By using multimeter in diode mode and checking diode or transistor we get reading like 784 or 658.
What this reading shows?
Dear sir can u help me ?? my transistor is damaged and i didn't find a transistor on market so what is the optional of that transistor no. MCR100 i am searching this for RGB rope light controller but i can't find this transistor
bro, what is the diode number you used for testing?
Thank you so much Master🙏
You are very welcome

thx bro for helping me
Very good performance with accurate
thanks
Thanks that helps alot.
Glad it helped
How can find the base? MOSFETs we find with the same procedure? Thanks

Very helpful!
Thanks
Excellent
Thanks
Thanks bro
Welcome
Good 👍
hi what if the value on the emitter and collector are the same, is the transistor bad? than you.
good video
Thanks
If reading shows voltage drop then what will be its unit.
Kindly explain, I will be grateful to you.
