That is so helpful, thank you. I'm learning the harp (very) late in life and my hands are gnarly. Hence I really do have to "work with what's in front of me!" Your tips are very useful and given me a lot to think about. 👍👍 (Love my harp - I'm addicted)
I'm starting to learn how to play, although I'm still afraid of not being able to learn it, I also have small hands and every tip helps a little. Thank you :)
You can do it! Everyone is different. Small hands can be an issue but I have professional harpist friends with big hands and they just have a different set of issues.
5 a week is a big commitment!! Make sure you don't burn out and give yourself enough time to practice too. And...remember to have fun, it should be FUN!!
When I play the harp, I tend to want my arms to touch the harp a bit with my arms which I know it's wrong but it's like a crutch, When I try not to do it, it feels awkward.
Keep at it and you'll get there!! I've seen this so many times. Ingrained bad habits are very hard to unlearn. I posted a full video on this a couple of weeks ago that will help - th-cam.com/video/3r5JkGQJsPU/w-d-xo.html
Your new videos are so beautifully done! Keep it up 🎶❤️🎶
Thank you so much!!
Very helpful! I love that you explain why we want to something. I love knowing reasons behind things!
I've got to know the why, otherwise the information just doesn't go in!!
So many learn from online watching other harpist hands. We don’t have the same hands. A wonderful tutorial to follow. Thank You
Glad it was helpful!
