The biggest challenge of playing the harp is making key changes. some key changes are simply impossible on a lever harp, some can be avoided, and some possible by flipping a lever while you're playing or setting your levers in a special way and adjust your playing to only touch a specific string only when you need to play that one major chord. On harps with nylon switching a lever isn't so touch on a string. but harps with gut strings I tend to be more careful when switching a lever so I don't usually make big key changes. I happen to also have a Camac harp, and my favorite thing about the harp is it's wonderful bass strings.
I hear you on that last one especially!!😅 I'm not exactly elegant myself, but the harp is just a beautiful instrument! Even when you're not at your best, it still sounds great. It is one of my two most favorite instruments (flute being the other one)!
They are expensive, there is no way around it. It took me over 20 years as a harpist before I could afford my first pedal harp. It was worth the wait though.
Honestly, both you and the harp are breathtaking!! literally!! Maybe the way you talk.. like in love with Buckley
This is a great list! Thank you, Heather! 🌈
Thanks for watching!

I agree, and love your list. The harp is such a part of my life and I have met so many wonderful people because of it.
It's the best community isn't it!

hehe - I'm so clumsy!! But aren't we lucky to have our instrument to help with that!
I got the same Ulysse and color ❤ I love looking at it 🤣🤣🤣
I love my harp!! He is called Buckley!
A beautiful instrument, the only problem is that a 47 string pedal harp starts at 25 thousand pounds.
