- Monday morning drive through the luxury Hollywood Hills. Video starts at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, heading to Sunset Blvd and into the Hollywood Hills. Hollywood Hills first, then The Bird Streets, ending in the Trousdale Estates. If you love real estate, youll find some of the most most iconic and luxurious residences here!
Hollywood is a neighborhood in the central region of Los Angeles, California. Given Hollywood's status as a center of movie production, the name functions as a shorthand for the film industry in many cultures and languages. The result has been a proliferation of portmanteaus in other countries for similar places which are tied to film. Likely the best known example is Bollywood which is the Indian film industry which is based in Mumbai and formerly referred to as Bombay. Lollywood is the Pakistani film industry based in both Karachi and Lahore. A few other examples are Görliwood for the Görlitz/Zgorzelec metropolitan area along the Lusatian Neisse River, HollyŁódź in Łódź, Poland, Tollywood from Tollygunge or Telugu-language film, Mollywood from Malayalam film industry based in Kerala and Hollywood.
Hollywood has come to be a shorthand reference for the U.S. film industry and the people associated with it. Many of its studios such as Paramount Pictures, Warner Brothers, and Universal Pictures were founded there and Paramount Pictures still has its studios there.
Hollywood was incorporated as a municipality in 1903. It was consolidated with the city of Los Angeles in 1910, and soon thereafter a prominent film industry emerged, eventually becoming the most recognizable in the world.

This hollywood hills area is mind blowing. Just absolutly insane for 20 different reasons. Just imagine how much work it was to get all those building materials up there. This place looks like a landslide waiting to happen. Just beautiful though. Too cramped, makes me nervous.

I followed along to their driving on Google Maps. It's crazy how gigantic some of the mansions are and you can't even tell from the street level. Definitely some insane houses in those foothills. Too bad they're packed in like sardines.

If anyone asked me, I def wouldn’t live up in those hills because of how many houses are literally on the road ( bedroom windows etc) and the parking isn’t great… plus I couldn’t imagine just wanting to get home from work and having to wind up those narrow roads…

Hehe I remember my friends whole street had 2+ feet of mud when a 35%gr hill melted after a 2 week long rain.. Even though these L.A Hills houses have significant reinforcement down to bedrock, I did wonder about that through the vid, that would be somethin.. for kids it was fun hehe, I member shoveling all day xb

Used to think rain is pretty rare in LA, not any more since 2023 when all the "atmospheric rivers" decided to show up!
Yeah, just last week the area had 4-5 days straight of constant rain. I believe that was the most rain Southern California has gotten in a single sitting since California became a state.

Firstly, thank you for the vid, captivating. From someone in Australia, I've driven these streets many times,.over 30 years of visiting. I find it both amazing with the crazy designs, seemless lack of any town regulations, cost of these houses with no parking, nowhere for children to play, beautiful architecture next to shanty knock downs, it just makes no sense to me and it costs so much. But with all that said, it's a very unique and interesting place to visit, the fact I've been so many times says something. I clearly enjoy it. The thing is, i visit and travel.so I get to see how the world is. I found the majority of Americans dont travel outside their own shores from just talking to them on both sides of the country I suppose it is huge, and diverse, but it's still the one country and travel opens your eyes a lot. I was asked so many times in USA whether we spoke American in Australia, my answer was, we speak English🤔
