Thanks again for the great video of a classic 33M Acme. Haven't seen one of those in years. Isn't it funny how those small Wawa's seem to have more things you need than the Super Wawa's of today. Sure seems that way to me.
Check out the A-ca-me in Maple Shade NJ (on Camden Avenue, a mile from Route 73. That is old school! Small size, small aisles, friendly service, and the colorful window sunscreens (my neighborhood Acme-Super Saver had these).

Central New Jersey. I came here since 80 . Lived up the street. I remember when they went to upc scanners. Revolutionary.
I went camping in Monroeville New Jersey which is in South Jersey and needed some stuff so I drove around until I found an IGA in Elmer New Jersey. I went inside to see what I could find and it was a time capsule from the '80s. I wouldn't be surprised if they still have things on the shelf from the 80s. it was ridiculous so I think you should go there. And if that place is shut down then just go to any other store in Elmer that sells anything. I love being out amongst trees and open fields but I don't know how those people survive down there.
I love your videos! I do miss the old crowded 90s grocery stores. We had an Acme in Millville that was modern with the exposed celling and everything and they closed down after a few years. The one in Vineland is older and still looks pretty much the same.
