Just macro all your single target, group target and AoE spells into 3 different macros and press them as needed - If you don't want to press all those buttons. That's what a lot of players do. Press O for Macro and drag spells into the macro window. You can also turn off the auto face in your options window, add a percent number to the enemy, and a distance meter away from target.
What killed eq2 for me was when after grinding in the early years for aa and lvls in one shot they let new players buy a high lvl toon with massive aa.this totally destroyed years of grinding and pissed me off.they also made mastercrafted gear pretty much worthless compared to looted items which killed the people who liked to craft.
Not sure why that bugged you, you earned it. Getting a level boost and points thrown at you if you’ve never played the game before can be as much a crutch as it is a boon.
@@FatalFist when you grind for aa you had to quest alot which made players explore the game more and expose themselves to attack which was part of the pvp experience.i know some assholes grief the less experienced players but it also toughened you up.to sum it up it killed the lower lvl open world experience

@AmpEdition I just started playing EverQuest 2 and OMG I need some direction. This video helps but I'd love to learn more form experienced SK's.

I haven't played EQ2 in several years but I still think it's one of the best RPGs ever made for the PC.
Are there no summons like in eq1?
I swear for EQ 2 been newer then EQ 1 the graphics look like a downgrade and a joke.
Go back and play EQ1, there’s a HUGE difference and EQ2 was visually better
