Heat pumps work very well in cold. They are very popular in Scandinavia with winter temperatures 20 degrees less than UK. If they only worked above 10 degrees no one would use them 😂😂😂

@Terry Jackson It is regularly cleaned, that is all that is needed, I brought an engineer in 2 years ago to service it and he said it was perfect condition and didn't need a service. Left with out me paying him penny. good honest service

I literalky listen to them over and over while Im at work or playing a quick few hours of a video game. Something that keeps my brain engaged, I dont have to pay a lot of attention to, since Ive listened before, and I always hear new things...sometimes just the way Nick responds to something that went right by me previously. ... great stuff, truly.

You could listen to Nick speak to these twatwaffles live, at a decent hour, if you don't already. He covers the 10pm-1am shift, so 5pm-8pm assuming you're east coast.

Hes great, and the sound effecylts really grow on you.
Air sourced heat pumps work well down to -10, they are used in Canada.
In areas with very cold weather they use ground sourced heat pumps.

There was a time, fortunately already quite a while ago, when anything, said by anybody, regardless of context, if it was said in a Northern Irish accent, it sounded menacing because of that. Derry Girls did a lot to heal that particular wound.
I'm old enough to remember when an unexpected phone call in a Northern Irish accent could freeze people's blood. Not in Northern Ireland, but elsewhere?
