Thank you for a tour of the trees. Your comments reflect your thoughts and you are never unkind or critical. Other competitors watching your video could not be offended. I hope your exhibits got such positive feedback.
Wowee!!! I've really been enjoying all the different perspectives! Videos on TH-cam, pictures on Facebook! Next, I'll have to be there in person.... Thanks Nigel!
I think I’m watching too many bonsai channels on TH-cam. I recognized way too many of these trees. Hehe I was diggin your commentary, good sir. I like how you find the beauty/perfection in each one so quickly
What beautiful trees! Thank you for the tour so we can enjoy vicariously! When you say “most beautiful pot I’ve ever seen” I can only imagine how many pots you’ve seen in your life and that this one must be pretty special!
Amazing trees, really appreciating all the hard work and dedication for the art. This is really motivating me even more as a novice, to see the see potential outcome of my trees.
Every one of the trees are really outstanding! I can imagine all the efforts this must have been taken to come to these results! Thanks also for the comments which reslly added to this beautifull show.
This bonsai show is just INCREDIBLE! The amount of mature, well-maintained plants is unbelievable. Enjoyed watching every minute. Hope there will be a part 3.
How well u always cover these bonsai shows!!!! It feels as if being there in the show & watching all these beautiful creations in person when u explain every single display!!!!!! Thanks for sharing
Ur up to the mark and such a kind analysis of the trees given a feel of show . u just create a image that I am there with you and ur explaining everything to me . thanks for this u have to be quite early there, before the show begins thanks for the hard work and u r doing for us. It shows ur love and pasion about the art . Absolutely love it ....
The Bluebell tree at 19:20 is common in the Philippines. It is a thorny species in which both the leaves & branches have thorns. It has tiny leaves, purple flowers & nice trunk for bonsai.
Thank you so much Nigel, for all of your work putting this footage together, really amazing inspiration and commentary! Seems like you had a great show, glad you were able to get your autograph. Can't wait for part 3 and also the upcoming winter season episodes in the Bonsai Zone.
Awesome Nigel, I really enjoyed both parts, the trees and displays looked just fantastic ! I was so happy to see your trees in the Toronto show, really awesome ! Conor also did a fantastic job as his trees looked great also.
So many wonderful trees, my personal favourite would have to be that Ginkgo at the front, although all the trees are spectacular. It was very interesting to see that mountian landscape with what appears to be Norfolk Island pines. It creates a really interesting composition despite those trees not growing like that in nature.
I didn't even know that black squirrels exist. Never too late to learn something new every day! Yeah, city squirrels tend to get so used to people that it may be annoying sometimes. I remember a piece of news about a squirrel that liked to enter a supermarket and get a candy bar. I don't know if chocolate is harmful for squirrels (like it is for dogs, for example), but a nutty bar surely must be a big treat for a squirrel. I really liked seeing those stones, because a stone display is not a very common thing to bump into. And who doesn't like collecting stones!
What a fantastic tour - Thank you so much for sharing it Nigel! Does anyone know what that deep red groundcover plant with the "Fragrant sumac" at 22:50 is?
Hi Nigel, greetings from Australia - how are you doing mate;) The ginkgo here just reminded me of a ginkgo you got a few years back and revitalised - curious if there's any update on that one. Cheers
Nice tour and good you found a moment to record it w/o alot of crowding visitors around.😊 Also loved the "viewing stones" section. Am a bit curious on how people react to your nice asparagus.
Nigel, thank you for taking the time to show us these trees! It’s so nice to understand the background of what we’re looking at and the possibilities. Do you know if a larger percentage were wired to start or are they more cut and grow like your trees? I was wondering for instance if the creeping juniper were wired to the vertical position to begin and the sides wired horizontally? Is it a matter of how to plant the cutting? It’s so interesting.
I'm really surprised you don't see more miniture roses as the small accessory pots or planted under trees in small forest style plantings. More mini hostas too .. mouse ear hostas planted under bonsai would be amazing ...and more ferns.
Hello all! I'd like to ask the Bonsai community a question. A little bit about myself, I am blessed beyond words to work at a tree and shrub farm and I have recently (this year) decided to get into Bonsai as it well suits my personality and I have an over abundance of conifers and deciduous plants to work with. We specialize in Japanese Maples and conifers of all kind. Anyway my question is how do I or even can I, trim the root system of a conifer that has grown it's first few years in a standard nursery pot? That is to say, I would like to have it potted in your standard shallow Bonsai pot but I'm fairly sure at this point it's too late to get that look. Even if it turns out that I can't achieve my initial goal it's ok because each shrub is already structurally gorgeous and I will shape/guide them and tend to them as authentic Bonsai. So, if anyone has knowledge on this topic I would be grateful to hear it. Thanks! And be well, from PA. USA

Seems to be something succulent like a Sedum or maybe an Orostachys species?
Lovely
Amazing ❤❤🙏🏼
cantik cantik bonsai nya

Am a bit curious on how people react to your nice asparagus.
Many people liked the Asparagus fern and they wanted to try growing one too!!
@@TheBonsaiZone How nice, am happy for you.
How important are the stands as part of the total display? What is their purpose and how did they get started?
