この曲はライプツィヒコラールの中で、天使達が舞い降りそうで、一番好きな曲です。オルガンの演奏していただき、ありがとうございます。 English This song is my favorite song in Leipzig Chorale, where angels are likely to come down. Thank you for playing the organ.
Bach himself played the organ in this very church in 1721--more than 300 years ago--, the great Reinken was there, who was in his 90's, and remarked he thought the art of improvisation Bach displayed was a lost, but realized in Bach "it still lives."
Wunderschöne und lebhafte Aufführung dieses polyphonischen Meisterwerks im inspirierenden Tempo mit versciedenen Tönen der rekonstruierten Orgel. Wahrlich genialer Organist!
An awesome Sunday pipe organ treat! This one would be great to have the score to follow along while listening... Thanks NBS! Btw, is today Bach's birthday? ...or the 31st?
Wow... One question- sometimes there are moments when it seems the overtones "collide" and there is an effect of a dissonance in the long notes. Is there an acoustic explanation for this?
Please note: this is an improved version of an earlier release. The reverb of the final chord has been extended.
@@andreaperipoli6178 i agree, Wind was much less distracting

One of the best Bach piece and what a wonderfoul interpretation!
Happy birthday J.S. BACH!
This is such a satisfying prelude to listen to. Our organist played it today (St. Catherine's Stuttgart, Stephen Brown) and I was his page-turner.
So powerful and passionate, nothing held back, pull out those stops, played so the heavens can hear. The majesty of Bach played brilliantly.

Never underestimate the legacy of Johann Sebastian Bach...

👍.
They are damned reprobates! They have been brainwashed by garbage music, so when they hear something pure and transcendent they reject it. Pity them!

It was in 31st
Rock n Roll brother!!
Transported me to a higher place. Thank you. 🙏

I don't currently own any recordings by Mr. van Doeselaar. Question I can't answer is "Why?"

Who also came here from "The three body problem" by Liu Cixin?
Nobody I guess? Hahaha
I have read the trilogy, but I don’t recall any references to churches, organ music, or Bach. But then, there’s a lot that I fail to recall.
It's a somewhat thunderous. I prefer Jean Baptiste Dupont's performance
I just listened to Dupont´s performance: G r e a t ! Thanks for your comment ! : -)
Van Doeselaar’s Heiliger Geist is a raucous one! 😂
I dislike the registration in this performance. There is a lack of clarity in the parts played on the manuals.
Boo hoo
So viel Geräusch, weniger Musik...
I don't know if it's the recording or the playing, but the musical lines are very unclear. It is mostly noise.
