    Thank you, young lady! I just wanted to figure out how to clip mask a heart shape from my PC and put a picture in it, I played around a little with your technique boom!! job done!!, I have been trying for ages on figuring out how to do this, and wow!!! so glad I stumbled upon your video 😘👍😘😀

    Hi. I followed all your steps for the Cuba masking text example but the background picture disappeared and the text stayed balck. I guess I need to change the text color to transparent but I can't find that feature. I also couldn't manage to press the control button and drag both layers at the same time. This is my first time using Canva. Thanks for the video anyway

      Just check that the picture you clip is directly on top of the text you want to clip it to. If it's not then it will disappear when clipped and the text will stay black. Also double check that the layer with the image is directly above the layer with the text in the layers panel.

      @@sue_farrimond I totally gave up on photopea. Its a complicated tool. my computer skills are limited. I'd better stick to canva and kittl. Thank you anyway for your response.
