    It finally worked. I was importing a full photo and was covering the whole canvas. I uploaded the photo your way and then made it bigger and then it worked. Thanks alot.

    Thank you that was very easy to follow. Can you tell me how you got the layers out of the folders to delete it. Because I have to drag them below to escape the folder then I can finally delete it. You seemed to have just dragged them to the left?

    • @photopeapro

      Hi there and thanks for the comment! I just watched it back as I couldn't remember, but as far as I can see I did just drag the layers to below the folder. Another quick way to move layers about is to hold the Control (or cmd on a mac) key and use the square bracket keys to move the selected layers up and down (and out of folders). Hope this helps :)

      @@photopeapro Thanks for your reply, pressing ctrl and selecting the layers then moving them slightly down did the trick.

    Top video mate. May I ask you is this also possible with a image. for example a dog. you put the sunset. will it create a same effect and the dog becomes covered with the sunset?

    • @photopeapro
      @photopeapro  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cheers! Yes, absolutely - as long as the image is cut out in some way, what ever you clip to it will filled in with the layer above 👍

    Hi. When I right click on the image layer the clipping mask option is not clickable. But when I choose the text and then right click it does give me a clipping mask option. This is the 4th video I watch and I still can't get it. What's frustrating is the fact that it's a very simple procedure but my computer doesn't give me that option. Thanks for the video anyway 👍

    so i am trying to do this but with a text that has stroke enabled, but when i add the clipping mask it covers the stroke as well. how do i fix that?

    • @photopeapro
      @photopeapro  ปีที่แล้ว

      Put everything inside a new group folder, and then add the stroke to that, instead of directly to the text layer. That should do it!

    Can you explain how to place multiple images into the same text?

    • @deadsetondreams1988
      @deadsetondreams1988 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, this!! I want to know that as well. I saw someone with a different image per letter, and that is exactly what I was trying to emulate.

    • @photopeapro
      @photopeapro  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It sure can! You can keep clipping as many images as you like to the same text, and create some really good effects

    How to save it in transparent PNG ?

    • @photopeapro
      @photopeapro  ปีที่แล้ว

      Turn all the background layers off so you can see the text on the 'checkerboard' transparent effect in the background, and then go to 'File' , 'Export As' and 'PNG'.
