I didn't find the air bag recall in my notes. That came out in 2022 for those built in summer of 2022.

I have a 2022 Maverick Lariat, been having an issue if I try to use my phone the radio comes on. Could not even get a keyboard on. Also could not turn the radio off by pushing the off button. A couple times the vehicle would not start.i don’t know what it’s called but when you stop and the engine stops to save gas that works periodically. Ben to the dealer three times. They find nothing wrong.

Casual reader take note: The Ford Pass application contains all of the three applicable field service actions. The NHTSA has an application called safer Car. You can also sign up for e-mail alerts by VIN.
A final note: We know this is the third year of production. Field service actions cover a minute portion of the year's total. An example is the 3 (out of roughly 80k) vehicle engine fires. Batches of bad parts go undetected until users report faulty equipment through multiple uses. Those bad batches form field service actions. Poor quality suppliers are the root cause of most problems.

just bare in mind that recall 23s27 is available for the PCM software reprograming for 20-22 Escapes. The 23 model years will get an engine block replacement possibly third quarter of 2024 double check and call you ford dealer to be sure

Recalls I understand. They happen. Thankfully never been actually impacted by a recall. But something that is driving me nuts is how the Maverick stereo system will clear its memory, almost every time (my settings and my radio selection) and how the auto hold continues to disable (with a warning on the dash when it does). It’s every day, almost every time. Local folks say they don’t know why it’s doing it.

Just imagine how many times the Maverick has been recalled in a short 2 years. May 1, 2024, Ford recalls 240,000 Maverick for taillight malfunction 😮

engine oil leak fix is a band-aid recall. they are supposed to have decided for sure by second quarter of this year additional information.

Have a 2022 and it’s a terrible choice and very expensive one. Mavericks are over priced (Indiana, Curry Motors) did vehicle swap. My fault I purchased it
