A helicopter and a rifle, cullings. You guys waste so many resources and put people at risk to play around with these murderers. " Then it hissed. She screamed the town down , everyone in the neighbourhood woke up ..took hours until an 'expert' got it out. The best part was me getting to skip school the next day. We did move from there though , for other reasons. In this building last year we found a non venomous snake on the third floor. It was freaky. Bats and frogs are regular visitors to my 2nd story apartment. The frogs are very well-mannered and stand in the doorway until invited in. If not, they proceed to the end of the balcony where there is a security light and gorge themselves all night. In the morning, they hop back downstairs. I pick up the odd one who ate so much he can’t move and take him downstairs.
For bats the trick is to remain quiet (noise confuses them) and leave the door open. They are intelligent and find their way out.

8:10 Damn bat. One was in my house and I used a net, being the nice guy I am, to live catch it and release. So I take it outside and unravel the net. Suddenly it flew up and grazed my knee as I instantaneously twisted around to flee. It flew off into the dark night and I flew off to the hospital as I twisted tendons and it felt like a knife in my knee. When I met the nurse at the ER, she asked what happened and I said a bat flew into my knee. She asked who threw the bat and I said no one, it flew by itself. She's thinking and talking about a baseball bat and I'm talking about the furry flying kind. She jots down her notes and sends me to get it x-rayed.
After the x-ray, the doctor looked at them and said I would have been better off with a fracture than have messed up tendons and ligaments. Then he asked what happened as he noted lack of bruise or contusion. He was thinking baseball. Then it struck me why the goofy questions and statements and I explained to the doc that it was not a baseball bat but the small flying mammal variety of bat. I apologized for driving everyone batty.

The pig in the salon bothered me how the guys couldn’t prop the door open to let it run out. If the elephant got into the hotel, why wouldn’t people just figure out that you need to open up a wide door to let the thing get back outside. Long story short, if an animal is trapped inside your space, the only way to help it is to make a big and obvious opening for the animal to escape through.
