Would it be advisable to use grade 8 hardware for the suspension vs grade 5?
The main reason for the grade 5 is they are more than adequate in shear strength in these applications. Plus a Grade 5 will distort/bend before they break. Grade 8 is more brittle and can be catastrophic if they fail.
