- Hey All, In this video we take a look at Mike's killer 1952 Ford F1. It has been in his truck for quite some time and he wanted to make it his perfect daily driver. After ordering up a @RoadsterShop spec chassis, @FordPerformance gen 3 coyote motor & a @TREMECPerformance TKX from @AmericanPowertrain you have the recipe.

finally someone who puts a ford engine in a ford truck seems like most guys go the easy way and do a LS swap
Agreed. I don't care what the make, always power a vintage vehicle by an original manufacturer name engine. It is an immediate turn off when I see a different make engine powering the vehicle.
I think majority of ford trucks i see are still baring the ford motor. I think its probably 1 out of 10 have an LS
I was at two car shows over the summer and 3 out of 4 were ford with LS motors
@@mikehubbard1067 That is generally what I see when you see these vintage Ford truck restomods for sale, some flavor of Chevy engine. I just don't get it.
Thank God! So tired of seeing the crossdressers! Great truck!
Contender.....Best patina of 2023! Love builds like this.
it sure is
The best …!! No air suspension , dazzling paint , BS interior… love it 🤗
bare bones and ready to go
Awesome truck! Hard to beat the Gen3 Coyote. Talking about Roadster Shop chassis friend has one on order for his ‘56 BelAir and it’s supposed to show up at my place here mid December. Already has a LS3 swap we did. Friend will be 81 yrs old October 2nd.
he will love it
Love to drive that everyday ❤
me too
Awesome truck! I have a 1959 f100 that people think is a beat up old truck with tires but it's custom like this so I know what he means about people walking by it at shows. Great video!
Love the 1948 thru '52,beautiful body lines.
Love this truck! This is the way to do it in my opinion! Nice modern day subtle touches but retain most of the original look aesthetically👍🏻 nice job!
he did so good
The dream for my 52. Only change would be a automatic for my inoperable legs. 👍🏻
nothing wrong with that
Love that body style probably my favorite that's a sweet ride!!
thanks
Beautiful truck! Done up perfectly 👍
he has style
Damn nice build, the kind where the owner isn’t afraid to drive it. Top notch.
Absolutely
That truck is perfect just the way it is!

Have a 51 in Blue. Still all original w/ flathead 6. Want to do almost the exact same thing.
make it happen, you wont regret it
I like it sounds great love the door paint.
Right on
What a bad ass little truck !!
it sure is
Great video
thanks for watching
A beautiful truck. I wouldn't throw it out. Thanks
Right on
Anyone that insists on starting off with a Roadster Shop chassis is dedicated to making that vehicle drivable by modern standards, and that is what keeps a historic vehicle such as this super cool to drive, instead of rusting away in a field and beaten to death by nature.
Amen
This truck is fantastic!!
yes it is
Another beautiful one Solomon😋👍
Many thanks!
This is my favorite truck y’all have interviewed the owner over.

Perfect truck. Change nothing.
yup
Ford in a Ford…the way it should be
where do these guy get the cash flow for all this madness lol mann I wish my f1 was like this I can barely afford a carb rebuild kit now day's
Needs to do the body and paint work and actually finish it!
i guess you didnt listen to what he was saying.
He has a perfect restoration 1968 Mustang Shelby GT500 and doesnt enjoy it because its too nice
@@FordEra no such thing as to nice! Just drive it! Its all in his head. Driving them is the most rewarding part. This whole rusted and Patina thing is just a poor excuse for not spending the money and effort to actually finishing a vehicle! Its actually very degrading and pathetic!

I don't know.
Not a patina guy.
To me, patina is rust and damage to the metal.
But to me, well, the sub par original paint, it fits the character of the truck.
Iam in two minds on this one.
