    Let me start off by saying "WOW!" Your toolbox is really very beautiful! Very nicely stocked & organized! That's really cool that you have 3 generations tools in your toolbox. I just really love my Snap-on 84" EPIQ toolbox! You have just a bit bigger toolbox than mine is. You did a very nice job doing your toolbox inventory. I know that it's not that easy from when I did my toolbox inventory some 4-5 yrs ago here on TH-cam. Thanks for sharing your toolbox inventory with us!!

    Beautiful.
    I spent a little over 40 years turning wrenches. During that time I have upgraded a few times. I was able to get my original paid price During trade ins, well not on my last upgrad, but almost.
    Like you I would wash, wax and detail my boxes.
    I do not have the overhead hutches, just the top hutch. One of my side hang ons is all drawers, the other is laid out similar to yours.
    The wife really didn't know how big it was until I brought everything home.
    I put my boxes and tools in the same category as my safe and guns.
    I hope after I die that she doesn't sell anything based on "her" perceived value.
    Thanks for the video brother. Very nice collection.

    As a 3rd generation mechanic myself and a Snap-on box owner as well, it’s awesome to see people who take care of the box that takes care of you. Now my box is nowhere near that size just a 3 piece set up. Top and bottom box with side locker in black. I have to say I absolutely love that color of this box. The black is a pain in the ass even with the cover it still gets dirty as hell. Some people don’t understand why we buy toolboxes that cost as much as a small car without the tools. It’s an investment and it feeds my family, pays my bills, and I love it like a child. Buy nice or buy twice. You get what you pay for. Beautiful box thanks for sharing. 🇺🇸💪🏼

    Absolutely beautiful shop, I was a collision repair shop owner operator for 25 years and always kept it clean and organized and found it to be a representation of one's work, that tool box had to of cost as much as a new car, I never found the additional cost of Snap On tools worth it in most cases as I was just as productive with other brands as long as they were good quality, the only time I would buy Snap On is if they made a specialty tool that nobody else did, I still have some of those old school body tools you have for working metal body panels, as time went on and metals became thinner with a higher alloy content the need for those tools just went away, that industry is changing all the time and it will be interesting to see how electric vehicles will impact those changes.

    Perfect tools for what you need them for, most tool boxes are full of brand new tools and NEVER get used like fifty percent of them , twenty different types of 3/8 ratchet's from different tool companies same as chrome and impact most of my sockets are impact apart from my 1/4 they are in chrome because the socket walls are a bit thinner and universal hinged for tight area's under dashboards sooner or later most of your six point nuts and bolts will be all torque and triple square in the interior of cars vans or even lorry's.
    Anyway a sound toolbox that should last a few more generation's, love your history .

  • @carcareautoclimate

    It should be noted that R1234YF is not flammable in the sense you point out. A leaking system in a passenger cabin will not detonate or ignite as stated, at a system pressure of 13bar and in certain instances of impact or crash the refrigerant may possibly reach a flash point but will not explode or combust in the way petrol/gasoline will ignite. Multiple tests carried out by SAE research groups determined that a specific set of variables would lead to mild flammability but only in exceptional cases. A leaking evaporator I'm afraid is not one of these.

    • @MotorizedCo
      @MotorizedCo  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the info. What then is the importance of performing an in cabin leak test when charging the system?

    • @christopheryoung826
      @christopheryoung826 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Assuming your referring to newer machines not refilling unless system is confirmed to be operating without a leak? The stuff still doesn't belong in the atmosphere. Epa rulings are the reason for that. Plus you shouldn't be breathing the stuff in.

    • @talpinsky92
      @talpinsky92 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No it’s because it’s about $90 dollars a lb and if you fill a a system and all your Freon leaks out the evaporator a five hundred dollar leak detector doesn’t sound too bad 🤯🤯🤯

      @Cooch5RC 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Interesting

    • @carcareautoclimate
      @carcareautoclimate 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Built Standards it's considered good practice before a system service to perform a visual leak check. This can also encompass the use of a sniffer tool to detect the possibility of any probable leaks. However, this is not mandatory.
      It is mandatory when a vehicle is fully discharged and contains no refrigerant within the system. This is best accomplished by means of trace gas testing. 95% nitrogen, 5% hydrogen. Used in conjunction with a h3 sniffer tool is the best method to resolve system leaks effectively.

    • @MikeandWhit

    I refuse to buy another Snap on box. My box was not even 1 month old. I came in on the weekend. My coworker was grinding right in front of it. Embedded metal in 1/3 of the box. A few months later I got a nice cover for my box. Someone rammed a scuff rail into my box. Have had my current box since 2003….

    I used th-cam.com/users/postUgkx4ynqaujg7rZKFapA8s29kTpRszJGa3-K this for the first time today to replace the front wheel bearing on my rwd 98 dodge dakota. This had absolutely no issue removing or reinstalling the lug nuts and it took off the axle nut without any struggle. Sounds like it's got some muscle to it. Time will tell

    Why do guys with barely any tackle always seem to buy the biggest box available?

    • @MotorizedCo
      @MotorizedCo  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Why do those with no content always have something stupid to say? Perhaps you can show us all of the cool stuff you do instead of running your mouth behind a screen 😅

      @@MotorizedCoSomeone sounds insecure about his purchase. You can sit and impress all the non mechanics on TH-cam and argue with commenters all you want, it still isn't filling your box with tools.
      I also wouldn't call spending $xx,xxx on a huge toolbox "Cool stuff" really. Turn your comments off if you don't like people "running their mouth". Do you have a draw for your big red nose? Clown.

      @@MotorizedCoWhy you deleting my comments? I hope that huge toolbox has a spare draw for you giant red clown nose.

    It's not a real tool box until you need a 6' ladder.
