Very nice game, superstition makes me believe that the bot rolls 7 more often than when you click.
Also, when you traded all the wheat for ore, could have also traded for brick (there was plenty) and traded that 3:1 instead of wheat.
Anyways, tense game, looking forward to the next one!
6:00 Road placement of the second settlement. That was a tough decision to make. All three options are undesirable in one way or another. I think that I would have asked Blue where they want me to put my road, knowing that they would be much more motivated than me for a good spot on the coastal 6 sheep hex. And if Blue said, seriously or jokingly, to point my road southwest, I would seriously consider doing so, in order to remove any tension from that side of the board.

on the 7 where you lost the city you should have stolen from black he had mostly or all wheat from 5/9 rolls
I'd like to see what would have happened if you decided to mess things up and take 6 5 10 as first pick X).
I think the main problem I'd have in this scenario is that I'm probably not getting a good spot to pair it up with when it comes back to me. Maybe I get locked-out of Wheat, but I guess I probably just jump on the Brick port with the 4/11.
It's definitely not a terrible idea. Didn't really occur to me during the setup and would have definitely created a whole lot of chaos. 😅👍
3/4/6 is a lot better than 8/10 cos you get the 2nd ore spot. Should be an easy decision
The main dilemma during placements was about the consequence of taking one spot over the other in terms of what it does to my opponents.
In a vacuum I agree 100%, and in this instance I think it was also more important to some damage to the expansion prospects for Blue vs. the prospects for Black. Just needed a moment to visualize what the game might look like as things develop over time.

Very early in the game you could have built a road and you would have won way earlier. You held over 7 cards more often than you needed to?????
