2175 ചതുരശ്ര കിലോമീറ്ററിൽ വ്യാപിച്ചു കിടക്കുന്ന റോയൽ കമ്മീഷനിൽ 20 പെട്രോ കെമിക്കൽ ഇൻഡസ്ട്രികളും 700 വ്യവസായ ശാലകളും 600 പ്രൊഡക്ഷൻ യൂണിറ്റുകൾ ഉൾപ്പടെ മൊത്തം 1329 ബില്യൺ സൗദി റിയാൽ ആണ് ഇൻവെസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്‌തിരിക്കുന്നത്‌. ഇവ വഴിയാണ് സൗദിയിൽ നിന്നുള്ള 60% കയറ്റുമതിയും ചെയ്യുന്നത്. ജിസിസിലെ 65 ശതമാനത്തോളം നിക്ഷേപം വരുന്നതും ഇവിടെയാണ്. സൗദി ജിഡിപിയുടെ 12 ശതമാനം പത്ത് വർഷം മുന്നേ തന്നെ സൗദിക്ക് ലഭ്യമാക്കിയത് റോയൽ കമ്മീഷൻ സിറ്റികളാണ്.
