On the one hand, without modification the voice changer is terrible.
On the other hand GOD ITS TERRIFYING!
the highest was the best.
major improvement near the end, before you modified it, it just sounded like garbled noise, now it sounds a lot better, awesome "how to" vid/review

P.S. The part where you were testing the voice changer had me laughing out loud! I was thinking, "It doesn't get much nerdier than that!" Haha!

Im not happy i cannot find one. The ones i have found are extremely expensive and i cannot afford.
They all suck because the mic and the speaker are inside the helmet so it bounces sound over and over.
The darth vader one didn't have this problem because the speaker was on the chest piece.
Thanks for the tips man, anything is better than the out of the box voicechanger mic!
If you want it to sound better do what I did and cut & paint black some memory foam line the inside of the helmet plus cut 2 half circles like big letter C's for your neck to block the sound from coming out of the bottom of the helmet I used Velcro to attach the neck foam This works dam good. So for the inside of helmet use half inch foam cover the full inside & for the neck 2" by 2" C shape foam. U must use memory foam standard foam did not work well For black paint use water bace paint thin it out a lot soak the foam then squeeze out excess water let it dry then repeat till right color

It's not the mic its just the speaker its way too loud causing vibrations
Great video. Really like what you did to the helmet. If I'm honest, I still can't say that I'm entirely convinced with the voice changer. Think I might just remove it completely on mine.
Try talking with deeper voice it works for me. 🤔👽🤘🏻

I just got this with a bundle with a stormtrooper helmet and Darth Vader! All 3 for 390. I am disappointed in the kylo ren tho. Feels very cheap and plastic
They still go for a high price even now, and the helmet is still a piece of shit, that being said, someone should take the templates off of it and post them online, that way people can make their own for 10x less and it will not only be screen accurate, but actually be wearable like a helmet

Yea well you can get a voice amplifier and make your voice kind of like his and it sounds much better. The stock voice changer is just crap in this helmet.
I have already bought it and i putted both pieces together but i didn't put the batteries to use the voice changer and what i want to do is to split both parts so i can put the batteries in it, how can i split them? it's hard af tbh

Pantyhose idea was to be honest, kind of stupid for the lens
+G1Hexatron Personally, what I'ma do is keep the lense, and also put the pantyhose fabric over it to dull the reflection.
