Your sweaters are gorgeous, I love the little cream ballet cardigan you made recently. If you pick up the sleeve stitches around the armhole with a smaller sized needle than the one you need for knitting the sleeve, then knit the next round with the correct size that will give a neater finish, I did that with one of my Joji Locatelli sweaters.
The sweater with the bows is beautiful. Had my eye on it and most others with bows. I cannot knit like you so maybe when I retire and take lessons, I can try. LOL. Thank you for showing and BTW that sweater behind you is beautiful! Take care.
Thanks so much, bows are a beautiful addition aren’t they. That’s a lovely goal to learn more about knitting, I find it exciting each new skill you learn then I always try something a bit harder each time. X
Beautiful knitting You have started some really nice patterns Looking forward to seeing them finished but knitting is so much slower than fabric and sewing It amazes me that you can knit the variety patterns Diamonds and cables ,stripes a yoke with different color and pattern Just beautiful The patterns would make beautiful art on the wall Take care and enjoy the knitting
Loved all your finds and plans. Right up my knitting alley. I’m knitting 4 jumpers at the moment. Two from 40s patterns, one 50s and a modern colourwork. Fun!
Hi, thank you so much for a lovely video as always. I am working on a Rowan short sleeve jumper at the moment. You have some great ideas. Look forward to your next video.
I enjoyed this so much Lisa. Knitting is my passion! I love a top down knit in the round job myself. Do you ever get involved in sock knitting? I plan to cast on a maja cardi this autumn, I’ve just got an overlocker so steeking might feel less daunting. That victory jumper behind you is so beautiful 💕
Very glad to have obliged then Lucy for your knitting passion. Sock knitting I have to ashamedly admit after one I get bored so they never get made into a matching pair 😳 never steeked, but it looks fascinating, let me know how you get on🤓💖
Great video, all your recommendations I am looking up. What's your thoughts on Super wash wool? Being a beginner knitter I bought some so I could machine wash my jumper however I've heard someone saying once knitted up they grow bigger and bigger, I'm worried. I've spent ages knitting my jumper and want it to keep the vintage fit.
Sorry I can’t help on that type of yarn as I’ve not used it. After shrinking a knit by mistake in the machine I hand wash all my knits now which might stop yours growing, if it did want to grow that is ☺️

Thanks so much Joanne. Apologies late reply, I’ve not been seeing them for some reason until now. ❤️
I recently saw a tip for itchy wool: soak the garment in hair conditioner. I think it was from Retro Claude. xx
Sounds a great tip, thanks 😊

Glad to know I’m not alone having lots of projects on the go. It’s good to give your eyes different things to look at isn’t it 😊
Your victory jumper is lovely! I've loved this pattern and been so tempted to make one for a long time.
Thanks so much ❤️ apologies keep finding comments I’ve not seen until now.
I have only attempted one knit in the round and still can’t fathom how to pick up stitches for the sleeves….3 years later still sleeveless 🙈
Oh my word 😀🧶 Google it as the TH-cam video that comes up is really helpful, it’s easy enough honest 🕺🏼❤️

Is the first yellow cardigan pattern still available on Etsy? It's lovely, I'd love a link if possible.
Hi, I wouldn’t know I’m afraid, must be a few years since I bought it.
