I felt bad for him ngl, I know how it feels to be bottom fragging when you're expected to be the team's star, but being publicly exposed to that performance like that must be stressful af, and his reaction to the triple nades confirmed it to me
I believe Nexa talked about the situation in an interview after the series and said something along the lines of kenny just getting back into CS more after getting really burnt out. I could be wrong but I believe that is what happened
@@khaoss6620 I’m well aware that kenny is a very emotional player and not having his fans cheering on him is having a huge impact on his mental state but if he can’t step up.. as much as it pains me to say he gotta go.. in a lot of recent maps he was really holding the team back and losing them so many rounds.. it really hurts to see my favorite player like this.
I don't think KennyS and niko work well, there is so much star power potential there but they just don't have the teamwork that other great successful duos have had.
@@rong1156 I feel you bro, it hurts to see what used to be one of the most fun to watch and mechinally gifted players really losing rounds left and right single handedly to the point where it just becomes cringeworthy.
It’s so sad to see him playing like this, especially when you know he has the skill to be one of the best awpers in the world. I would’ve never thought he would be one of the main problems in g2.
This may be irrelevant but I hope nexa doesn’t feel like he’s disrespecting niko by going for triple outside setups because niko feels like he should be able to hold an entire part of the map by himself.
First two episodes have been focused on star players whose poor games are anomalies. What about an episode or two about support players who have been under a lot of flack recently? ie. Amanek, flamie, Twistzz (on Liquid)?
if G2 had better utility usage to counter their outside aggression then Niko's score would have been completely different. How many times did Niko ask for supporting flashes to take an edge or make a play outside that ct half?

Crazy how Furia was looking like the best in NA for a while but they underperformed with the roster changes and Liquid and EG have had some very good tournaments recently.
He got caught off guard a couple times, stuck around too long after being flashed in by his teammate outside (stanislaw kill), committed too hard on that deagle peek to red from garage. He got destroyed without having a chance a couple times yeah but overall I'd say bad.

Niko is always getting caught, unfortunate timing I guess. Unlucky is what I'd call it. Not taking anything away from EG they did their homework on Niko. Well played!
I think that the real problem is nexa as an IGL sadly. They were bad for some time even before niko so the only conclusion we can make is that nexa isn't adapting his playbook or the team as a whole isn't any good.

Lau, I hope you see this. We gotta put an end to this narrative that G2 is the most talent rich roster in the tier one scene. I don’t know why that was all I kept hearing during blast global finals, but it’s gotta stop. I could argue that mechanically, Liquid, CoL, and even Mousesports (EG too if I’m honest) are overall more talent rich rosters as a unit. Sure they have Niko, and this is is clearly an off game for him, but as a unit G2 is way too inconsistent. What I will say, however, is that G2 has a lot of work to do on their map pool. Until they can get a consistent off meta pick (their train and Nuke are woefully inconsistent) and stop depending on winning mirage/dust2, they’re going to keep struggling to make it deeper into these tier 1 brackets. They luckily was able to pick into vertigo against EG, but Col really exposed how limited G2’s map pool really is. Also, we need a Stan demo. Such a smart guy omg.
