    • @DangerZer0
      @DangerZer0 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's very inaccurate. The official stream did have a delay. For each tournament there's usually another private feed which has no delay and is shared with betting sponsors for the purpose of real-time betting. For all tournaments that feed is kept very tightly and none except the betting sponsors have access to it. For this tournament though, apparently, the feed was provided to all casters, admins, etc. and was leaked publicly to some major bettors. The theory is that Akuma also received access to that feed and that is what they had opened on their second screens. That is why you can see them on the official stream, looking off to the side of their screens.

    theres a lot of potential for tier 2 teams to upset tier 1 teams, they have insane aimers and players too and they have all the time in the world to study navi's tactics to completely outplay everything navi have as defaults whereas navi will be like: "akuma who? lets go smash them" and then this happens..

      @@Rosterized yeah no, def not. Id say they are about tier 4. Its all upp to interpretation ofc, but its highly unreasonable to class them as anything higher than tier 3.
      Found this on Reddit:
      Tier 1 - Teams strongly favored to win international event. In-depth strategy, high levels of preparation for opponents, high individual skill level, and high degree of playmaking ability. Typically strong vetoes, with deep map pool.
      Tier 2 - Teams that are favored to go deep in international tournaments. In-depth strategy, moderate to high levels of preparation for opponents, high individual skill level, high degree of playmaking ability. Moderate vetoes, deep map pool however are often superseded by Tier 1 teams. These teams are favored to win smaller invitational or regional tournaments, but it will be considered an upset to overtake a tier 1 team. Occasionally may fail to go deep in tournaments because of external issues(poor management, visa issues, injury)
      Tier 3 - Teams that exist in the international scene with highly skilled individual players, but cannot excel due to lack of strategy, preparation, or playmaking ability. The reason for these teams failing to succeed may be high competition, team was recently formed, poor infrastructure, lack of practice against high level teams, lack of motivation, or poor player quality.
      Tier 4 - Teams that compete on a regional basis, but are essentially irrelevant in the international scene. These teams may occasionally take maps or matches from higher tier teams, but cannot do so consistently. Most of these teams
      Tier 5 - Teams that literally do nothing and aren’t but we know of them because they have popular players, sponsors, or organization.

I feel like you'd do a great job at the different types of movement to use in different situations for example, most people these days know about counter strafing but maybe more on abusing crouch sprays and also im not sure if others do this but I sometimes use it for awping and jiggles but its essentially 1)hold a unti you get to the angle and u can barely see the angle you want to clear 2) hold d and use that tiny gap of chanign direction to be accurate rather than stopping to counter strafe.
    works even better for awps for me personally so I'd be interested in your thoughts

    i have a theory but it may be flawed cuz idk, but people are saying all these lower level teams are beating top tier teams just cuz its online but when we watch lans, ive never seen a team like akuma, lan events literally only put tier 1 teams vs tier 1. except for things like seeding in majors like 2019 major with crazy and stuff, but ive never heard of crazy until 2019 so maybe the players on these lower teams could be some tier 1 teams we just never see it cuz they literally never play them at lans and they are stuck playing each other in tier 2, even tho probably both of the tier 2 teams playing each other could compete vs a tier 1 team like navi at a lan.

    no possibility of hacks here? That sensei peek to ladder room suspicious asf. Is that a thing? I've never seen anyone do that being exposed to a lot of angles just to peek the specific spot S1mple is holding. Could they prepare for s1mple to be holding that sliver angle in ladder? I mean its ridiculous and suspicious asf.

    • @boosteddrimmsu
      @boosteddrimmsu 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think it's just pure preparation. I mean, did you see just how often s1mple boosted someone ladder or was boosted himself? Especially with how many matches NaVi played in the last few months, it's probably pretty easy for Akuma to anti-strat them, if they put in the hours.
      1) NaVi has to play a lot of official matches and doesn't have as much time to keep developing new strats or gameplans. (The meta in top tier csgo is almost stagnating due to oversaturation in matches and therefore less breaks to work out new map strategies, tactics etc.)
      2) There is a lot of footage and VODs of NaVi to learn from.
      3) kind of an addition to 1) - with more matches and less time in between, the impact of the coach shrinks, while the IGL has to do more. But (in my opinion) Boombl4 just isn't quite on the level as some of the IGLs for other high tier teams (e.g. glaive, blameF, cadian, AleksiB or even nafany - at least every time I watched Gambit, nafany seemed to be a pretty good caller). Because NaVi is more of a "coach-team" (strategically), they might struggle more against good stratting/anti-stratting in this type of oversaturation era.

    you probably remember the guy TheC0ncept who made videos on the topic.
    i really respect your opinion on these things and i would love to hear your take on the topic.
    i hope you are not bound by anything that silences your voice on this matter.
