My brutal truth! 1. I stay here at Swamp, 200m from Sam West. 2. Their counters and cashiers are terribly disorganised 3. From selections to paying is very confusing. It took me 1hr 27 mins just to pay. I left the items there and headed to Naivas and it took me only 5 Mins to pay and get out. They tell you to go to a specific counter, get some receipt first, then go to the second, it's time consuming 4. I can't spend all that time standing on a counter when I can go buy things from Naivas which is just a stone throw away, and checkout in 3-5 mins. 5. The staff, especially cashiers and those attendants need proper training on customer relations. They address customers as if we are their children. Nakuletea pesa you then treat me like trash. Mimi ni mtu mzima, If I ask for directions that means am unable to manoeuvre around to find the items am looking for. Overall, their shopping experience is pathetic!

Case in point Omo & sunlight 1kg are both cheaper at Naivas and Carrefour. Blueband 500grams is selling at supermarket prices. And many other products that were once being sold at really cheap prices have gone up. I think to be fair since they are expanding, they get into the supermarket trap of having to sell at really high prices (higher than wholesalers) to cover operational costs.
