BenQ Palette Master Ultimate Shortens Calibration Time in Half!

  • When PME (Palette Master Element) calibrates an SW series monitor, it usually needs about eleven mins. This is calibration time plus validation time. When PMU (Palette Master Ultimate) calibrates an SW272U, it needs less than six minutes. This is also calibration time plus validation time. The main speed-up technology we used here lies inside the monitor hardware.
We utilize a new USB transfer protocol and hardware solution, and this allows us to transfer more data with faster speeds. The new SW272U and SW272Q feature this updated hardware, so users enjoy much shorter calibration times.
Also, PMU incorporates a new set of algorithms to shorten the calibration process while improving results. Optimized for the new hardware solution on more recent monitors, PMU also improves calibration time and results on select SW series monitors from previous generations, although not to the same extent.
*Data based on BenQ lab tests, actual results may very slightly due to differences in specific testing environments and monitor manufacturing variables.

Ever since I installed PaletMasterUltimate( Ver 1.1.0) and calibrated the displays PaletMasterUltimate always has a splash screen when ever I reboot my 16inch MPB M3max. Is that supposed to happens, its like its alway on even though theres no display connected. The previous version of Palette Master never did that.
I just calibrated both of my SW 27 displays (4K and 2K) with my M3max. I also have a M2max as a back up computer, both have the same Mac OS Sonoma 14.1.2
If I have to recailbrate the displays again with the same Mac OS setting disabled it going top be a pain. Where are the ICC profiles stored in the user of the M3 max, so I can bring them over to the M2Max. Is that possible? Thank you
