Hi there! I inherited my Oma’s Touch & Sew-II Singer Sewing machine, model 771 and am having the hardest time finding help solving a problem I created. I lifted the metal tongue piece out from underneath the metal plate because I have been used to removing the piece to place the bobbin. I now can’t figure out how to fit that piece back. Could you make a video showing me how you do it on yours? They seem quite similar. Thanks!
I would make a video but I no longer have the Singer Sewing machine. I would encourage you to try to see if you can download a copy of the manual for free from singer. Another idea would be for you to join a vintage, singer in sewing machine group on Facebook and see if someone there can help. I’m sorry I can’t help you.
Your a life saver thank you!!
