I can't get over how you decided to upload this at the time right after I attended the lecture for diels-alder reactions & aromacitiy. It's like you know somehow that 2nd semester Orgo students are being taught aromatics at this exact moment.
2:50 could you pls expand on why resonance can’t occur if E is on C3? As far as I can see, neither system is conjugated as both contain only 4 pi electrons?

Wasn‘t there somethinh with the protonation of pyrrole? We were taught that the protonation also occurs on the C3. But one of the protonation reaction can undergo a ring opening reaction. Idk, I haven‘t really understood it, so that‘s why I‘m here.
